History & Staff
We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.
Our customers are the purpose of our business. We never lose sight of that plain and simple fact. And, keeping that in mind, our goal is also plain and simple...excellence -- excellent pre-need, at-need, and after-need service -- excellent accommodating, well-maintained facilities. An excellent, attentive, caring and professional staff.
This has been our goal since 1987 when we founded the Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home in Flint, Michigan. My wife, Valaria Conerly-Moon, and I wanted to provide our community and the surrounding counties with a funeral home where excellence is pursued on a daily basis.
Our customers are the most important people in our business. We depend on them. We care about their needs and we serve them in a caring, courteous, and professional manner. We are the “Home of Caring.”
In 1997, we acquired the Browne's Mortuary in Saginaw, Michigan. In 2006, we began serving the people of Pontiac, Michigan. The three locations combined employ over 60 dedicated people who live in the communities that they serve and are active in many area churches, social and civic organizations. Our family would appreciate the opportunity to serve your family in any way that we can.
