FRANK, Mrs. Therese E. - Age 46 passed away Friday, June 24, 2016 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA. Family hour 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 a.m. Interment Flint Memorial Park, 9506 N. Dort Hwy., Mt Morris, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:00 Wednesday. Mrs. Frank will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. Mrs. Therese E. Frank was born September 5, 1969 in Flint, Michigan to M.T. and Nellie Matthews. She was a graduate of Beecher High School, “Class of 1988”. Therese later moved to Baton Rouge, LA where she spent the remainder of her life. She was a member of Restoration Bethel Church. Therese as employed by Costco of Baton Rouge, LA. She enjoyed playing the slots, taking care of her family and making them laugh. Therese was always willing to help others. She could be seen wearing a beautiful smile, and if you were in her presence she would make sure you smiled too. Mrs. Therese E. Frank leaves to cherish: husband, Edgar Frank of Baton Rouge, LA; daughter, Tiffany Matthews (fiancé’, Maurice Hester); son, DeVaughn Wilson; five step-children; granddaughter, Tamia Hester, all of Flint; sister, Carolyn Jackson of Riverdale, GA; 2 brothers, Terry Matthews and Danny (Carmen) Matthews, all of Flint; 3 nieces, Chyane Matthews of Baton Rouge, LA, Katherine Jackson of Riverdale, GA and Tania M. Jackson; 2 nephews, Jamel Booth and Danny (Nikki) Booth; aunt, Fannie Bednefield, all of Flint; 6 uncles; 27 cousins; 2 sisters-in-law; 3 brothers-in-law; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Sherry (Grover) Mathious, Veronica Hester and Swanzetta Wilson. Mrs. Frank was preceded in death by her parents, M.T. and Nellie Matthews; grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. James and Ella (Pea) Frank; 2 aunts, Eloise Glover and Sallie Smith.
