GRAYSON, Mrs. Tammy N. - Age 45, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at her residence. Family hour 11 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Cathedral of Faith C.O.G.I.C., 6031 Dupont St., with funeral service commencing at 12 noon. Supt. Christopher Martin, Host Pastor, Supt. Brian Grundy officiating. Interment Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, G-9506 N. Dort Hwy. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 11 a.m. Saturday. Mrs. Grayson will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday with family present from 5-7 p.m. Mrs. Tammy Nechelle Grayson was born June 30, 1967 in Orlando, Florida, the daughter of Whealor and Pinkie Darisaw. Tammy was a resident of Swartz Creek, Michigan. Her church affiliation was Church of God in Christ. Tammy attended college pursuing a career in Paralegal. Her hobbies were working, Arts and Crafts, planning baby showers and other activities. Tammy was a loving mother that would do whatever she could for her children. She loved kids, her longtime dream was to open a place for children that were in trouble, so she could get them back on the right path. Regardless of what it was, she would help you if she cold rather it was family or friends. Mrs. Tammy N. Grayson leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Terrence Grayson; daughter, LaShay Darisaw of Flushing, MI; 2 sons, Larry G. Boyce III and Terrence V. Grayson, Jr.; 3 grandchildren, Tiera of Flushing, MI, Christian and Nemiah, both of Flint; mother, Pinkie E. Darisaw; grandmother, Elizabeth Washington; 3 sisters, Carolyn M. Silis of Flint, Terri and La’Keesa R. Darisaw, both of Pontiac, MI; brother, Richard Bullard of Orlando, FL; 4 nieces, Shameka (Juan) of Ypsilanti, MI, Ant’Quince Darisaw-Lee of Flint, Tierance Silis of Flint and Nevaeh Darisaw of Pontiac, MI; 4 nephews, Kamoney Rubin, Marko Rubin Jr., Kenneth Silis, all of Flint and Zonie Shelby of Ypsilanti, MI; 2 aunts, Lettis Law and Althea Jackson; great aunt, Blanche Cohen; uncle, Roosevelt Law and Dennis Jackson, all of Orlando, FL; mother-in-law, Dorothy Grayson of Flushing, MI; brother-in-law, Sean Burton of Flint; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Grayson was preceded in death by her son, Isaiah Darisaw; father, Whealor Darisaw; grandparents, Luke and Willie Lou Darisaw and John E. Washington; sister, Trista Darisaw; aunts and uncles, Ethel Lee-Sweeny, William and Eddie Mae Love, Samuel and Bernice Darisaw. The family would like to express special thanks to Supt.
