Stanley Pringle

PRINGLE, Mr. Stanley R. - Age 68, passed awy Sunday, Decemeber 21, 2008 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. Family hour 10:30AM Friday, December 26, 2008 at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, G-6415 N. Clio Rd., with funeral service commencing at 11AM, Pastor Wallace Hill, III officiating. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery, G-4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30AM Friday. Mr. Pringle will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12Noon-6PM Wednesday. Mr. Stanley Roosevelt Pringle was born November 5, 1940 in Dayton, OH, the son of James Pringle and Nellie Rubin. Stanley attended East High School in Cleveland, OH. In 1960 he joined the Army branch of the Armed Forces. In 1975 Stanley and Linda moved to Flint, Michigan and began to start a family. Stanley accepted Christ early in life and was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church. He was employed by AC East a Division of General Motors and was a member of the UAW Local 651. Stanley had a passion for fine clothing and loved to dress. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also loved spending any chance that he could fishing. Mr. Stanley Roosevelt Pringle leaves to cherish his memory: 7 daughters, Ahmina (Victor) Graham, Euleetha Pringle, Lynda Pringle all of Columbus, OH, Stalyce Crowder of Cleveland, OH, Shana Massey and Valerie Roche both of Flint and Azaija Washington of Pensecola, FL; 4 sons, Nathaniel (Phyliss) Reese, Stanley Garrett and Antonio Roche all of Flint and Jermaine (Kimberly) Reese of Holly, MI; honorary daughter, Latoya Roche; 20 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; aunt, Mary Watts of Moreno Valley, CA; a host of nieces; nephews and special friend, Romero “Jap” Nicholson of Moreno Valley, CA. Mr. Pringle was preceded in death by his daughter, Alisa Pringle-Miller; parents, James Pringle and Nellie Rubin and nephew, Craig Rubin. The Family would like to express special thanks to: Pastor Wallace Hill III and the Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, the staffs at Hurley Medical Center and Henry Ford Hospital and to all of our family and friends who have come out to help celebrate the homegoing of our Father.
