WELLS, Ms. Roshelle "Roe" - Age 55, passed away Friday, May 31, 2019 at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, MI. Family hour 1:30 PM Monday, June 10, 2019 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM, Pastor Janard Lakes, officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Chapel 1:30 PM MOnday. Ms. Wells will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 10:00 AM-6:00 PM Sunday. Roshelle Marie Wells was born to Augustus Lee Wells and Earselene Miller on September 25th, 1963 in Flint Michigan. She graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1981. Along with being employed as a licensed Cosmetologist, you could always find her in the produce department of Meijer where she worked for 13 years. In 1991 she gave birth to her most prized possessions, her twin girls, Courtney and Whitney. Roshelle loved to cook and go grocery shopping. She was always trying new recipes from The Food Network and Pinterest. She was most famous for her dirty rice, spaghetti salad, and macaroni and cheese. She loved sports, rollercoasters, taking pictures, reading, watching television, playing video games, as well as keeping up with the many games on her phone. She was an avid music lover and collector. She was always happiest when she was together with her girls, family and friends, and caring for "my boo." Roshelle was a beautiful woman, with a genuine spirit, a funny sense of humor, and a no-nonsense attitude. Even though life dealt her a difficult hand, she played it with tremendous strength and resiliency. She is sincerely loved by many. Roshelle leaves to cherish her memory: 2 daughters, Courtney and Whitney Rogers; honorary grandson, Curtis "CJ" Montana Williams Jr.; mother, Earselene Miller; 5 sisters, Tracy Wells, Princess Wells, Pamela Wells, Thelma "Dede" Wells-Wallace, and Philana Wells; brother, Travis Coulter; a host of nieces and nephews; 5 aunts, Frances Miller, Bonnie Miller, Barbara Lakes, Denola Miller, and Carla Hill; uncle, Wesley (Caroline) Shumpert; a host of loving cousins as well as a host of other special relatives and friends including, Alissa Goodman, Tangie Luckett-Jacobs, Tisha Young, Kim Cavette, Kim Attyberry, Chavon Miller, Angela Miller, and special Pastor Janard Lakes. Roshelle was preceded in death by her father, Augustus Lee Wells; grandmothers, Gearldine Wells and Cordelia Hill; grandfathers, Lawrence Gus Wells and Wesley Shumpert; sister, Debra Warren; brother, Neil Wells; 4 aunts, Beatrice Shumpert, Gail Chatmon, Olliesteen Hall, and Ester Jones; 2 uncles, Charles and Eugene Shumpert.
