Mr. Robin Denell "Punkin" Parlor

PARLOR, Mr. Robin Denell "Punkin" - Age 57, passed away Monday, August 10, 2020 at his residence in Detroit, MI. Mr. Parlor will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. and may be viewed Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Robin Dennell Parlor was born March 22, 1963 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Elwood and Georgia Mae (Redwine) Parlor. He confessed Christ at an early age. As a baby, Robin was quite large and gained the name “Punkin” that he was affectionately known as ever since to all that knew and loved him. He graduated from Flint Northwestern High School in Flint. Robin was an artist and a dreamer who was always planning his next endeavor. He always wanted the family and extended family to get together so all the cousins, kids and grandkids would know each other. Robin Dennell Parlor leaves to cherish his memory: fiancé, Melita Cooper of Columbus, OH; daughter, Alexandria Parlor of Detroit, MI; 3 sons, DéJamario Parlor of Flint, Kendall Parlor of Grand Rapids, MI and Darius Parlor of Detroit, MI; 5 granddaughters, Aubree, I’Zaria, Kali, Aleyah and Angelica; 4 grandsons, Xavier, Jadien, Kendall Jr. and Casey; 2 sisters, Barbara Walker and LaMonica (Michael) Rodgers; 2 nieces, Sheree (Freddie) King and Kourtney Baty; 4 nephews, Derrick (Heather) Walker, Daryl (Barika) Pace, Brandon Baty, all of Detroit, MI and Marcus Parlor of Ohio; uncle James Belk; 3 aunts, Virginia Redwine and Betty Redwine, both of Flint and Thelma Redwine of Birmingham, AL; “Punkin” always had fond memories of his cousins, Steven Belk, Robbie Belk, Evelyn and Charlotte “Gale” Redwine, Montena Davis, Maryanne Demps, Michael Parlor, Talisa Belk, Michelle Belk, Monica Redwine and Princess Belk; a host of other cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends including special friends, Bernice, Walter Johnson, Larry Pope, Joey Kompchia, Robert Wilson and Cheryl Bellomy. Robin Parlor was preceded in death by his daughter, Grace Parlor; parents, Elwood and Georgia Mae Parlor; grandparents; a host aunts and uncles; other relatives and friends.
