GUINN, Mr. Randall "Randy" - Age 51, passed Monday, December 2, 2013. Family hour 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 9, 2013 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Evangelist Linda Pryor, officiating. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30 a.m. Monday. Mr. Guinn will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 10a.m.-6p.m. Sunday. Mr. Randall “Randy” Guinn was born September 18, 1962 in Jackson, Michigan. He passed this life Monday, December 2, 2013, holding hands with his nieces, Tracy & Stacey. He was the son of Mrs. Naomi C. Gossett and the late Mr. Walter D. Guinn. Randy attended Jackson and Flint Community Schools. He was a quiet person by nature but full of life. He welcomed everyone into his home as his door swung on welcome hinges. Randy loved music, sports, cooking and playing his keyboard. He had a great love and friendship with his nieces and nephews. Randy was a devoted son, brother, cousin, friend and loved by many in the neighborhood. He was a survivor and one never to complain when life dealt him a harsh blow. He faced every situation with quiet grace. Randy always had a kind word and beautiful smile to share with his family. Whenever his family wanted to bless him in return he would say, “I’M NOT WORTHY.” Randy LIVED, LOVED AND DIED. Mr. Randall “Randy” Guinn leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Naomi “Mama” Gossett; his beloved sisters, Evangelist Linda F. Pryor and Ms. Beverly Kay Mayes; brother, Patrick Frey; aunts and uncles, Mrs. Eula (Onna) Parker, Mrs. Odessa (Shalto) Gilmore, Pastor Walter (Jackie) Pryor and Ms. Willie F. Cawthon; 9 nieces and 2 nephews, Tracy, Stacey, Kym, Porsha, Angelina, Ericka, Aaliah, Samiya, Cori, Christopher and Dallas; a host of other relatives and friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to Jashana, Donald, Jimmie, Rodney, Wilbert “Bobby” for visiting and ministering to him throughout his time of illness.
