DARISAW, Mrs. Pinkie Elizabath - Age 72, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Willowbrook Manor. Family hour 1:30 PM, Saturday, June 17, 2023 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM. Interment Gracelawn Cemetery, 5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Chapel 1:30 PM Saturday, June 17, 2023. Mrs. Darisaw will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Friday, June 16, 2023. Ms. Pinkie Elizabeth Darisaw was born August 18, 1950 in Orlando, Florida, the daughter of Elizabeth Hopkins and John W. Tucker. Pinkie was a resident of Flint, Michigan and a member of Greater New Bethel Church Of God In Christ. She attended high school and graduated from the Zimmerman Center. Pinkie was employed as a Laundry Technician and was a seamstress. She enjoyed baking, cooking and traveling. Pinkie loved church and testifying. She was the church custodian and was very hardworking, loyal and trustworthy. Pinkie loved helping people in need. She was a foodie and was fearless. Ms. Pinkie Elizabeth Darisaw leaves to cherish her memory: 3 daughters, Carolyn Silas, Terri Darisaw and LaKeesa Darisaw; grandchildren, Shameka (Juan) Shelby of Lakeland, FL, LaShaya Darisaw of Flint, Marko (Chasity) Rubin of Houston, TX, Ant’Quniece Lee Jackson, Larry (Giovanni) Boyce, Tieranee Silas, Kenneth Silas II, all of Flint, Terrence Grayson Jr. of Canton, MI and Nevaeh Darisaw-Love of Flint; 18 great-grandchildren; mother, Elizabeth Washington; sister, Althea (Dennis) Jackson of Orlando, FL; niece, Shira Bland; nephew, Nathan Jackson; a host of cousins including, Patricia Love of Flint, Annell Evans, Sylvia Knowles and Felecia Lofton, all of Orlando, FL; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Linda Faye Robin, Nola Rice, Usher Myrtle Jones, Versie Roland, Ola Ellison, Lisa Ray, Denise Thompson, Anthony Talton, all of Flint and Alvin Whitehead of Orlando, FL. Ms. Darisaw was preceded in death by her former husband, Whelor Darisaw; fathers, John E. Washington and John W. Tucker; daughters, Tammy N. Grayson and Trista L. Darisaw; grandsons, Isaiah N.
