WRIGHT, Mr. Marnell T. - Age 50, passed away Friday, June 7, 2024, in Wayne Co., Michigan. Family hour 10:00 AM Saturday, June 29, 2024, from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Pastor Nathaniel Hawkins-Bridges, officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, 4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Chapel 10:00 AM Saturday. Mr. Wright will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed Friday, June 28, 2024 from 12:00 PM-6:00 PM Apostle Marnell Tamiro Wright was born May 28, 1974, was called home on June 7, 2024. Marnell is the son of Dorothy Ann Wright and Clarence “Billy” Ruffin. He grew up in Flint, Michigan. Marnell confessed Christ at an early age at New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church. He graduated from Flint Northwestern High School, “Class of 1993.” There he enjoyed performing in the Marching Band and playing his Violin. Once employed with AI Flint-Former Management and General Motors Corporation. Later moving to Inkster, MI and was employed with Kuka. There he worked as an Engineering Services Processor. Marnell loved his job and co-workers. His spiritual achievements were, Senior Pastor & Founder, Apostle, Prophet and Bishop at Faith Healing International Ministries (October 23, 2021). He was a Teacher, Motivational Speaker and Counselor. Marnell loved God and his people dearly. Marnell loved spending time with family and friends, fishing, boating, all amusement park rides and he also loved “Mickey Mouse.” By many, he’s called “DAD”. He wore that title proudly with true love. Marnell never met a stranger, but had an abundance of love for anyone and everyone. Apostle Marnell Tamiro Wright leaves to cherish his memory and will be greatly missed by: mother, Dorothy Ann Wright; grandmother, Eula Ray Wright, both of Flint; god-mom, Raquel Wright of Sterling Heights, MI; brothers, Damontay D. Wright and Dondric L. Wright; sister, Denise Ford, all of Flint; a host of spiritual/god-children, near and abroad; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Apostle Wright was preceded in death by his father, Clarence “Billy” Ruffin; grandparents, Loretta Clark, Lawrence Wright Sr. and Clarence Ruffin Sr.; brother, Shiron La’Tel Wright; and uncle, Eugene Christopher Ruffin. The family would like to express special thanks to Pastor Nathaniel Hawkins-Bridges, Pastor Jacqueline Bridges, Pastor Kenneth Gillard and the staff of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home.
