CLEMENTS, Ms. Linda Faye - Age 55, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2006. Family hour 1:30PM Saturday, December 23, 2006 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 2PM. Pastor Kenneth L. Stewart officiating. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, G-5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 1:30PM Saturday. Ms. Clements will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Friday. Linda Faye Clements was born January 6, 1951 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Walter McGee, Sr. and Louise (Merland) Purvis. Linda was a resident of Flint, Michigan and a graduate of Flint Northern High School "Class of 1969". Her greatest aspiration was to become a Culinary Chef. Linda was an outgoing, outspoken, generous person, who loved her family and loved to cook. Ms. Linda Clements leaves to cherish her memory: dear friend, David McNeal, Jr.; daughter, Ceia Mays; 4 sons, Monte', Ondron, Daniel and Dione Clements; 4 grandchildren, Camesha Sims, Monte', Jr., Destiny and Oksana Clements; parent, Merland Purvis; 5 sisters, Jacqueline and Toni Purvis, Valerie, Arsenia and Jackie McGee; 4 brothers, Herbert Clements, Walter and Ralph Gills, and Walter McGee, III; niece, Shawanda Minor; 5 nephews, Jermaine Cannon, Christopher Hill, Arie and ArQuevion Nelson, and Walter McGee, Jr.; aunts, Mary Bell, Janet Green, Margaret (Marshall) Robinson, Martha Langston and Marjorie Clements; uncle, Leo Purvis; mother-in-law, Maxine Mays; sisters-in-law, Dinah Hairston and Kathryn Blake; many beloved cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends, Sharon (Willie) Harris, Nicole Campbell, Ishmel Vaughn, Brenda Hickmon, Linda White, Linda Robinson, Linda Collins-White, Lawrence McNeal, Barbara and Paul Mays and Jewell Bray. Ms. Clements was preceded in death by her daughter, Miquela Mays; parents, Louise Purvis and Walter McGee, Sr., grandparents, Marie Clements, Charles and Mattie Clements.
