TUCKER, Mr. Lilton - Age 75, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:00 AM Thursday, September 14, 2023 from the chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery,G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the chapel 10:00 AM Thursday. Mr. Tucker will lie in state in the chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Wednesday. Mr. Lilton Samuel Tucker was born January 6 1948 in Wheatley, Arkansas, the son of Toulton Tucker and Mary Lee McDonal. Lilton was a resident of Flint, Michigan and attended United Missionary Baptist Church. He was employed at General Motors Corporation for over 30 years. Lilton enjoyed fishing, playing the lottery, doing yard work and casino trips. He also enjoyed hanging with his buddies under the tree, spending time with his grandkids and listening to music (James Brown, Johnny Taylor and Snoop Dogg). Dad was the life of the party and loved to talk cash stuff. Mr. Lilton Samuel Tucker leaves to cherish his memory: 3 sons, Lilton Dante (Kimberly) Tucker, Dominique (Olivia Osborne) Moore and Mahir (Brendetta) Tucker; step-son, Eugene “Buddy” Moore; grandchildren, Kamariya Tucker, Lilton Tucker Jr., Dominque Moore Jr. “D.J.”, Gabrielle Tucker, Sha’zai Triplett, Lathan Tucker, Nazarea Moore “Sunshine”, Mahir Tucker Jr. “M.J.”, Lebron Moore, Julius Moore, Heaven Moore, and Zahnyah Moore; great-grandson, Messiah Banks; 3 sisters, Wisie McChester, Gloria Dean Jordan and Mary Alice Jordan; 3 brothers, Odie Lee, Othea Jordan and Levern Hall; nieces, Bonnie, Gwen, Debra, Barbara, Carole, Sheila, Pam, Roland Jordan, Desodra, Corlonda, Lakenya, Andrel, Stanisha, Javalyn and Suprina; nephews, Deshon, Deandre, Manny, Leon, Michael and Derrick; sister-in-law, Tonya Hawthorn; brothers-in-law, John Hawthorn, Larry Hawthorn and Nile Hawthorn; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Nathan Gregory, Henry Low and Smitty. Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by his wife, Sophy Tucker; parents, Toulton Tucker and Mary Lee McDonal; step-father, Havester Hall; great-niece, Porsha Jordan; brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and his dog, Champ.
