AMOS, Ms. Lillian Eloyce - Age 64 passed away Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Genesee Care Center - Grand Blanc, MI. Family hour 10 a.m. Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Pentecostal Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, 401 E. Carton St., with funeral services commencing at 11 a.m. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10 a.m. Saturday. Ms. Amos will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Thursday. Ms. Lillian Eloyce Amos affectionally known as “Twoee” was born May 24, 1951 in Forest, Mississippi, the daughter of Rufus Amos, Jr. and Lessie (Moore) Jones. She moved to Flint, Michigan as a child where she resided until her death. Lillian graduated from Flint Northwestern High School, “Class of 1969.” She was a member of Pentecostal Tabernacle Church Of God In Christ where she worked as Church Secretary and provided janitorial services for many years. Lillian spent a short time in the workforce until she was called to care for her daughter, Jennifer which she did dutifully. Her hobbies included calligraphy, graphic arts and cooking. Lillian was an avid football and tennis fan. She loved to help people and catering. She also loved to watch Western movies. Lillian was a loving and thoughtful woman. Ms. Lillian Eloyce Amos leaves to cherish her memory 2 daughters, Jennifer Amos of Flint and Chiara Amos; 2 grandchildren, Clifton Franklin, Jr. and Rylee Amos, all of Lawrenceville, GA; 4 sisters, Walterean Patrick, Janice (Greg) Johnson, all of Forest, MS, Marilynn Towner and Stannette Marquis, both of Las Vegas, NV; 2 nieces, Tamara August and Cicely Long; 7 nephews, Jonathan Amos, Elliott Towner, James August II, Michael Johnson, Stefan Flowers, Sean Johnson and Todd Johnson; 4 aunts, Estella Fountain of Forest, MS, Margaret Evans of Ellenwood, GA, Mary Moore of Forest Park, GA and Essie Townsend of Flint; uncle, Edward (Josalind) Moore; great-nieces and great-nephews, Terry Key II, Ashley August, Jaleesa Long, Marcus August, Marvin August, Marteveus August, Douglas J. Long, Marquan Lewis and Martavius Lewis; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends, Rose Lawson, Queen Morse, Barbara Hollins and aunt, Essie Townsend. Ms. Amos was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus Amos, Jr. and Lessie (Moore) Jones; grandparents, Atwood and Luella Moore, Rufus Amos, Sr. and Lela M. Amos; and sister, Patricia Amos.
