JOHNSON, Mr. Jometric J. - Age 40, passed away Friday, October 18, 2019 at his residence. Family hour 10:30 AM Saturday, October 26, 2019 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd, with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Pastor Diallo Glass, Officiating. Interment River Rest Cemetery. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Chapel 10:30 AM Saturday. Mr. Johnson will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 2:00 PM-8:00 PM Friday. Mr. Jometric Jarvail Johnson was born June 27, 1979 in Flint, Michigan, the son of LaGreta Johnson. Jometric attended Flint Community Schools. He graduated from Flint Northwestern High School and received an Associate Degree from ITT Technical Institute. Jometric loved to read, draw and cook, but the most important thing he loved to do was spend time with his children, who he loved with all his heart. Jometric just celebrated his 14 year anniversary on October 1, 2019 with his best friend, the love of his life, Danelle Johnson whom he has loved for 20 years. He was employed by General Motors Corporation for the past 13 years. Mr. Jometric Jarvail Johnson leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Danelle Johnson of Lansing, MI; daughter and son, Cobe Johnson and Calleigh Johnson; mother, LaGreta Johnson; grandparents, Vincer (Irene) Johnson Sr.; brother, Brandon Johnson; 2 aunts, Tracy Johnson, all of Flint and Kimberly (Alton) Brunswick; 5 uncles, Michael Johnson of Flint, LaRond Johnson of New York and Vincer (Mondra) Johnson Jr. of Chesterfield, MI, Johan Thompson and Kelvin (Paula) Pruitt, all of Flint; 2 sisters-in-law, Courtney Graham of Ypsilanti, MI and Kristian Graham of Lansing, MI; 4 brothers-in-law, James Graham Jr. of Warren, MI, David Graham, Lionel Graham, both of Ypsilanti, MI and Daniel Graham of Flint; god-mother, Marilyn Moffett; god-sister, Ebone Ogden; a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his son, Jameer Christopher Johnson; grandmother, Flossie Johnson; and god-father, Michael Avant.
