FIELDS, Mr. Jairius - Age 31, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022, at Hurley Medical Center. Mr. Fields will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Mr. Jairius Tekel Fields was born June 3, 1990 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Larenda Brown and Clifton Charleston Jr. Jairius was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church since 2014. He graduated from Flint Northwestern High School. Jairius loved dancing and music; he was the life of the party. His passion was cutting hair, he wanted to open a barbershop for him and his sons. Jairius’ hobbies were spending time with his kids and shopping. He always had an eye for fashion. Jairius was outgoing, funny, loving and had a personality like no other. He was also known as “Kash Man” and “J-Bizzle the Barberman”. He will be truly missed by his mother, kids, family and friends. Jairius was a praying man and mama’s boy and also known as my “Shabokie Boo”. Mr. Jairius Tekel Fields leaves to cherish his memory: 3 daughters and 5 sons, Devon Peoples of Pontiac, MI, Zamarie Mahan of Atlanta, GA, Jairius Fields Jr. of Ohio, Elijah Frontberry, both of Flint, Saniya Fields of Columbus, OH, J’mairus Pollard, Amelia Fields, both of Flint and Caleb Boswell of Detroit, MI; 7 step-children; parents, Larenda Brown and Clifton Charleston Jr.; step-father, Steven Brown Sr.; grandparents, Lettie Bell, Clifton Charleston Sr. and Anthony Paxton Fields; sisters, Jasmon Crawford, Janay Fields, Nyneka Perkins, MeAngellon Charleston, Kalaya Perkins, Nayirah Perkins and Zyaria Charleston; brothers, Cordell Davis, Steven Brown Jr. Kwamain Evens, Jalen Ashley, Arkel Charleston, Michael Mitchell Jr. and Clifton Charleston III; nieces. Na’Nalah Leflore, Journee Bell and Nakariona West; nephews, Kaylon Perkins and Kartel West; aunts, Sonya Fields, Doris Thomas and Lasandra Fields; uncles, Lance Fields, Fredrick Hall, Tommy Tommy Thomas, Lawrence Fields and Rodney Green; cousins, Gwenitta Fields, Dorian Fields, Diamond Fields, Reggie Fields, Landen Fields, Willie Lee, Kenya Dumas, Tonio Adonis and Javontez Mitchell; brother-in-law, Pierre Crawford; a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Fields was preceded in death by his daughter, Tottiona Mahan; papa, Carl Fields; and grandmother, Gwenette Fields.
