MOSLEY, Mr. Hosea -Age 80, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2026, at WillowBrook Manor in Flint, MI. Family hour 1:30 PM Saturday, September 5th, 2026, from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM. Pastor Ronnie Wiggins, officiating. Friends and family will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 PM Saturday. Mr. Mosley will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Friday. Mr. Hosea Lee Mosley was born on August 4, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Mary Mosley and Sam Mosley. Hosea was a longtime resident of Flint, Michigan. He enjoyed reading, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. He was known for his sense of humor and his memorable personality. As we remember Hosea, we recognize that every life has its own unique journey, filled with different seasons, relationships, experiences, and memories. Those who knew him will carry their own special memories of him. Mr. Hosea Lee Mosley leaves behind: 2 children, Briana Janel Sears and Tony J. Watson; stepdaughters, Arami Sears-Miller and Jennifer Sears. Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Talib Kweli Tartt, Lyric Amari Watson, Demetrius Dannard, Shikir Jones, Hailey Jones, Harley Jones, and Lamar Jones; his sister, Acquanetta Wiley; and a host of other relatives and friends. Hosea was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Mosley and Sam Mosley; his brothers, Robert Mosley and Sam Mosly Jr.; his grandparents; and the mothers of his children, Mary B. Sears and Joyce Watson. May his memory remain with those who knew him, and may he rest peacefully. John 14:1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
