JAMISON, Mr. Harry, Jr. - Age 73, passed away Friday, January 28, 2005 at his residence. Family hour 10AM Friday, February 4, 2005 at New St. James Memorial Church of God In Christ, 2229 W. Carpenter Rd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11AM. Pastor Archie Powell, Jr. officiating, Eld. Eddie Parish, Pastor. Interment Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, G-9506 N. Dort Hwy. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10AM Friday. Mr. Jamison now lies in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Wednesday, February 2, 2005, and 8AM-8PM Thursday, February 3, 2005. Mr. Harry Jamison, Jr. was born May 31, 1931 in Calhoun City, Mississippi, the son of Harry and Charsley (Armstrong) Jamison, Sr. He was employed by Fisher Body-Grand Blanc as a Skilled Trades Pipe Fitter, retiring on April 30, 1999 after 45 years of service. He was a member of UAW Local 1292. Mr. Jamison enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling and family reunions. He was an avid Flint Northern High Schools Vikings sports fan. Mr. Harry Jamison leaves in God?s care: fiancÚe and caregiver, Jewel Williams; 2 daughters, Lisha Williams and Tymika Jamison; 7 sons, Harry III, Ronald (Pamela), Curtis and Othniel Jamison, all of Flint; Bernard of Atlanta, GA, Ivan of Baltimore, MD and Brian of Miami, FL; step son, Burtram Williams; grandchildren, Darnell and Shannon Baker, Charlott Lee, Kilotta, Bernard, Brandon and Jackie Tart, Shaquandra, Jasmine, Kilnesha, Shanell, Curtisha, Kadeja, Isiah, Akheem, Kierra, Kilandria, LeAnn and Chelsea Jamison, Shanae Williams, Alvin Stocker, all of Flint, Kelsey Ghent of Miami, FL; great grandchildren, LaKyra Davis, Darnell Baker, Jr. and Xeryia Tart; sister, Jimmie Dee Holland; aunt, Ida McQuiller; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends including Charles Brezzell, Charles Irby, Robert Anderson, Rev. Bob Gaither, Melvin Gray and others who will miss him dearly. Mr. Jamison was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, L.C. Armstrong and Finley Jamison; aunts, Annie Mae, Emma, Myrtle, Dimple and Leeila; uncles, Johnny Esker and Eddie; and ex-wife, Dorothy Jamison. The family wishes to express special thanks to Drs.
