HOWARD, Mr. Freddie, III - Age 36, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 1:30 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Bethlehem Temple Church of the Apostolic Faith, 3401 M.L. King Ave., with funeral service commencing at 2 p.m., Rev. Lennon Cole of Springhill, TN, officiating, Eld. Phillip J. Thompson, Host Pastor. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Mr. Howard will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Friday. Mr. Freddie LeRoy Howard, III was born May 31, 1974 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Freddie and Wanda Howard,Jr. Freddie, as known to all, attended Northwestern High School, graduating “Class of 1994.” He was a past member of Christ Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church and Canaan Baptist Church. Freddie worked at Aspen Technologies, Inc. and recently at Universal Collision. He loved his family, was an excellent employee, who loved working on cars, doing house repairs and working on the lawn. Freddie always loved motorcycles. He leaves to cherish his memory: 2 daughters, Shamonicka Bonner and Brandy Howard; their mother, Conicka Bonner and Raven; son, Freddie Howard, IV; his mother, Cynthia Boone; special daughter in his heart, Shontyera Boone; ; 2 daughters he loved as if they were his own, Macy and Kalasha Boone; parents, Freddie and Wanda Howard, Jr.; brother, Anthony (Glenda) Dallis of LaGrange, GA; 2 sisters, Robin Muhammad of Flint and Wanda (Kenney) Seeney of Holt Summit, MO; grandmother, Anna L.V. Howard; aunts, Anna (Stancel) Rushing, Nancy Watson, Sandy Fields, Constance Price, all of Flint, Sue (Alfred) Bates of California, Brenda (David) Taylor, Sr. and Wesley Davis, all of Flint, Flora Cox, Donna Harper, both of Georgia, Shirley (Michael) Taylor, Sharon (Joseph) Alcidas, all of New York; great-uncle, Lloyd Johnston, Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, including special cousin, Frank (Dayna) Howard of California and special friends, Rodero Willingham and Lonnie McNeal, Andrew Blacknoff, Elmonte Washington and Mac Davis, all of Flint. Mr. Howard was preceded in death by his grandparents, Freddie L. Howard, Sr., Wesley Freeman, Louis Watson and Mary Watson; and brothers-in-law, Mark Muhammad and Timothy Anderson. The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to Elder Phillip J. Thompson and the Bethlehem Apostolic Church family, Trumbull Street Neighbors and a host of friends and family who have wrapped so many arms of love around them during the loss of their dear family member.
