Mr. Felix Justine Gregory

GREGORY, Mr. Felix Justine - Age 73, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019 at his residence. Family hour 4:30PM Thursday, October 3, 2019 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 5:00 PM. Family and friends will assemble at the Chapel 4:30PM Thursday. Mr. Gregory will lie in state the chapel and may be viewed 12:00PM-8:00PM Wednesday. After which Mr. Gregory will be taken to Branscumb Johnson Gilcrest Funeral Home, 911 N. Main St., Brinkley, AR 72021, (870) 734-2772. Mr. Felix Justine Gregory was born December 7, 1945 in Wheatley, Arkansas, the son of Feddix and Naomi Harris Gregory. He was the 10th of 15 children born to this union. Felix confessed hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized in the Church of Christ. He was known by all who knew him, affectionately called him “Stopper”. Stopper attended school at Marion Anderson High School in Brinkley. Felix was a resident of Flint, Michigan since 1968. He became employed with Flint Metal Fab, a division of General Motors Corporation where he retired with 34 years of service in 2002. Felix devoted his time to his family and friends. He was a family man to all, he never met a person and called them a stranger. “Stopper” is what everyone called him. He loved to travel, watch TV, when I say TV he watched everything! His trade was cooking. He would cook and feed everybody. If you came through that door you were eating. Felix was a listening ear; as well as a good advisor. He was the go to person when you needed to talk. His grandkids were his passion. Mr. Felix Justine Gregory leaves to cherish his memory: wife of 17 years, Lula M. Gregory; daughter, Shciana Gregory, both of Flint; son, Larry Howard of Las Vegas, NV; 7 step-children, Youvena (Ricky) Bowie, Krista Smith, Lashelle (Raymond) Taylor, Shamel Burnett, all of Flint, Valarie Farmer of Tyler, TX, Raychelle Smith of Southhaven, MS and Angelia (Mario) Burkes of Augusta, GA; a host of grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; 5 sisters, Deloris (Nathaniel) Smith, Doris Morrison, both of Wheatley, AR, Shirley Wynn of Flint, Christine Gregory of East St. Louis, IL and Mae Helen (Carl) Dawkins; 3 brothers, Thurman Gregory, all of Gary, IN, Warren Robert Gregory of Atlanta, GA and Leonard Gregory of Brinkley, AR; mother and father-in-law, William & Ruthie Taylor of Hernando, MS; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including special friends, Wallace Miller and Rodney Williams, both of Flint. Mr. Gregory was preceded in death by his parents, Feddix and Naomi Harris Gregory; 2 sisters, Dorothy Mae Gregory and Theresa Gregory-Mason; 6 brothers, Ropair Gregory, Lloyd Lee Gregory, Freddie “Billy Ray” Gregory, Frank “FA” Gregory, Welkhome “PAP” Gregory and Rudolph Gregory. The family would like to express special thanks to the Hospice Care Team.
