Mrs. Edna Fay Brown-Marshall

BROWN-MARSHALL, Mrs. Edna Fay - Age 74, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022 at her residence. Family hour 10:30 AM Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Spirit of Victory Outreach Ministries, 2920 W. Court St., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Bishop Neal Roberson, officiating. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30 AM Saturday. Mrs. Brown-Marshall will lie in state in the chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Friday. Mrs. Edna Fay Brown-Marshall “Foxy Fay” was born July 11, 1948 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Henry Walker and Alma Lorene Gant. She was a member of Church of the Harvest International, where she loved serving as an Usher. Edna was employed at Buick City, a division of General Motors Corporation for 22 years. She sponsored many in her journey of recovery. Edna was a clean over 30+ years. She loved her community. If you knew Mrs. Edna, she loved to dance. Mrs. Edna Fay Brown-Marshall “Foxy Fay” leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Eugene Marshall; daughter, Jawana (Kyle) Brand, all of Grand Blanc, MI; son, Jamal Adair Brown; 5 step-children, Porsche Evans, Lacharity McGee, LaToya Chapman, Mchicha Evans and Antonio Kerr, all of Flint; grandchildren, Jaylan Brown, Jakhari Brown and Winter Castleberry, all of Grand Blanc, MI; god-children, Teron (Tish) Briggs, Carl Briggs, Keisha Dortch, Destiny Wilson, Ashley, Amber, Angelia, Eugene Patterson, Felicia Johnson, Lateeia Netwon and Timothy Ormand; brother, Joseph (Deborah) Gant of Flint; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends, Earlene Page of Flint, Barbra (Pettie) Field, Maxine Williams of Texas, Patricia Briggs of Detroit, MI, Melanie “Mel” Russell of Clarksville, TN. Mrs. Brown-Marshall was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Walker and Alma Lorene Gant; 2 aunts, Anna Pearl Anderson and Ethel Wright; nephew, Joseph Gant Jr. The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Eugene Chardoul and office staff, Bishop Neal Roberson and Church of the Harvest International family, Pastor Janard Lakes and Spirit of Victory Outreach Ministries family.
