LOGAN, Mr. Earl Drew - Age 68, passed away, Monday October 28, 2013 at McLaren-Flint. Family hour 10 a.m. Monday, November 4, 2013 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Rev. Dr. Mickarl D. Thomas officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10 a.m. Monday. Mr. Logan will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral home, and may be viewed from 12 p.m.- 6 p.m. Sunday. Family will be present from 4pm-6pm. Earl D. Logan a Flint resident was born on September 20, 1945 to the proud parents of James Anna and George Logan Sr. in Flint Michigan. He was the youngest of 6 children when he excepted Christ at an early age. Earl's fun energetic loving spirit, determination, hope and passion for life will always be remembered. Earl attended and graduated from Flint Central High school in 1964, were he met and married his high school sweetheart, Judy F. Felton. He retired from Buick, a Division of General Motors and was a member of UAW Local 599. He was one of many entrepreneurs of Flint owning many businesses. He was very outgoing, well respected by the young and old. He was a man of fashion from head to toe, loved his family and friends, and enjoyed life to the fullest. Earl leaves to cherish his memories: 2 daughters, Danielle (Cornell) Logan-Young of Flint, Fay Renae (Kevin) Logan-Clark Sr. of Macomb, MI; 1 son, Derrick of Flint; 8 grandchildren, Sheri, Brandon, Earl, Edvin, Derrick Jr., Devin, Dedrick of Flint and Rose of Nashville TN; 9 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, George (Eleanor) Logan of Flint; James (Dorothy) Logan of Grand Blanc, MI; Charles (Christine) Logan of West Virginia, 1 sister, Mary Alice Branch of Flint; 2 sisters in- law, Janet Felton and Valeria Felton Lee; a host of nieces, nephews and friends including, Alvin Miller, Wilbert (Poppa) Jarrett, Mike Shumpert, Marvin Mabry, Gregory Jackson and the Prestige Automotive Family, Henry (Inez) Williams; Linda Darby and family; a host of other relatives and special friends from Detroit, Michigan. Earl will be welcomed in heaven by those who have gone home before him, father, George Logan Sr.; mother, James Anna Dunkling, his wife Judy F. (Felton) Logan, and sister Dorothy Logan.
