WILLIAMS, Mr. Deondra L. - Age 30, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:00 AM Saturday, July 13, 2019 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Family and friends will assemble at the Chapel 10:00 AM Saturday. Mr. Williams will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM-8:00 PM Friday. Deondra Lamont Williams Sr. was born October 24, 1988 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Danny Lee Sr. and Brenda Williams. Deondra Sr. was self employed with the skills of Mechanic Trade taught by his “Dad”, Danny Sr. he truly loved spending time with his children, Deondra Jr. and Mar’Daysa, and his love, Monique. Deondra also loved fishing and hunting. Deondra Sr. collected guns, enjoyed fast cars, music and traveling. He was known to many as, “Mr. S.S.” Deondra L. Williams Sr. leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Mar’Daysa Lasha Williams; son, Deondra Lamont Williams Jr.; mother, Brenda Williams, brother, Desi (Marcy) Layton of Bridgeport, MI, Deon Williams Sr. and Danny (Da’Shawn) Williams, all of Flint; 12 nieces, Dezyre, Nateisha, Rayven, Destiny, Arereona, De’Ja, Mahdganie, Zy’va, Dannie, Shahanna, Breona and Annalicia; 5 nephews, Vaughn, Deon Jr., Markeqeon, Deon III and Donovan; 3 great-nieces, Honesty, Zyla and Kyleigh; 3 great-nephews, William III, Josiah and Derrick Jr.; 5 aunts, Latanya Nunley, Diane Williams, Brenda (Greg) Williams, Taseena Benton of Flint and Hope of Arizona; 2 uncles, Tommy (Priscilla) Robinson of Battle Creek, MI and Alan Williams of Flint; a host of cousins including special cousins, Mark, Kevin, Shaheem and Shamear; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Stanli, Kevin, LaTerrance and Mark. Deondra Sr. was preceded in death by his father, Danny Lee Williams Sr.; grandparents, Willie Carl and Thelma Lavern Williams; aunts, Torina Benton and Willie Carol; uncles, Elish Robinson, Lorenzo Robinson, James Robinson, Eddie B. Robinson and Carl Williams; and mother of Deondra Jr., Asia Adkisson. The family would like to express special thanks to Lawrence E.
