TYLER, Ms. Christina Maria - Age 28, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 1:30 PM Friday, October 12, 2018 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM. Rev. Spencer Tyler, officiating. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, 5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Funeral Home, 1:30 PM Friday. Ms. Tyler will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and be viewed 1:00 PM-8:00 PM Thursday. Ms. Christina Maria Tyler was born June 12, 1990 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Tiniya Tyler and James Lee. Christina was a beautiful mother of four who graduated from Flint Metro Youth Build. She grew up in True Light Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the Choir. Christina loved spending time with her family, cooking, eating and was the life of every party. She would give her last if she knew someone was in need. Christina was born and raised in Flint, but had recently moved to Lansing, MI to better herself for her and her children’s new beginning. Ms. Christina Maria Tyler leaves to cherish her memory: children, Jasmine and Ku’waitte Richard, Mylajah and Anastasia Williams; parents, Tiniya Tyler and James Lee; step-parents, Alfred Lee Robinson, all of Flint, Emma Ortiz of Lansing, MI; sister, Shaniya M. Brown; 3 brothers, Mark Jones Jr. and Adrian Washington, all of Flint and Jaylan James of Lansing, MI; 3 nieces, De’asiah Wilson, Adrianna Washington and Armani Washington; nephew, Adrian Washington Jr., all of Flint; 4 aunts, Talisha Tyler of Dallas, TX, Stephanie Tyler, Ebony Parker, Alyssa (Adrian) Brown, all of Flint, Pearl and Sonny Rembert of Lansing, MI; 3 uncles, Anthony Tyler of Dallas, TX, Anthony Flood of Atlanta, GA and Roderick Lee of Lansing, MI; 17 cousins including, Danayjah Gibson of Dallas, TX, Quinetta Lesie of Atlanta, GA, Sakoya Tyler, Raymond Tyler, Demario Blunt, Antonio Allen, Darnell Skinner, Jacobie Tyler, Xavier and Rodney Evans, Adrianna and Adrian Brown, all of Flint, Anthony Tyler and Courtney Tyler of Ohio; mother-in-law, Marilyn Richard; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Otto Scruby Brown; best friend, Crystal Allen; god-mom, Juanita Whitaker; Marquiona Bingham, Sheena Williams, CaShaena Brown, childrens father, Ku’waitte Richard, Keyara Harden and London Harden. Ms. Tyler was preceded in death by her grandparents, Shirley Tyler Kyle and Joe Flood; grandmother, Fannie Mae Lee; great-grandparents, Grace and Wilmon Tyler; and fiancé, Donnie Williams.
