Mr. Charlie Lee

LEE, Mr. Charlie - Age 88, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 4:30 PM Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 5:00 PM. Interment 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 4:30 PM Tuesday. Mr. Lee will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12:00 PM- 6:00 PM Monday. Mr. Charlie B. Lee was born May 28, 1933 in Farmersville, Louisiana, the son of Ben and Annie Lee. Charlie was a resident of Flint, Michigan. He received his early childhood education in Louisiana. Charlie was employed at General Motors Corporation for 35 years and was a member of UAW Local #659. He loved to travel, fish and playing cards. Charlie also loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his friends at the local AA. He accepted Christ at an early age. Mr. Charlie B. Lee leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Daisy L. Lee of Flint; 2 daughters, Myrtle (Graston) Norris of Richmond, TX and Cynthia Cummings; son, Kelvin Skelton; 2 step-children, Barbara Moore and Geraldine Wilson, both of Flint; grandchildren, Graston D. (Nicole) Norris of Flower Mound, TX, Torrance M. (Tamara) Norris of Richmond, TX, Brittany (Javon) Rutherford of Fort Campbell, KY, Michael Cummings, Quannie Williams, Shakaisha Skelton, Sharay Skelton, Smika Skelton, Sharelle Skelton, all of Flint, Martez Moore of Alpharetta, GA, Montrell Moore of Flint, Bernard Wilson of Howell, MI, Jason Wilson, Robert Wilson, both of Flint, Jalisa Moore-Holland of Grand Blanc, MI, Brittney Holland and India Moore, both of Baton Rouge, LA; a host of great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Eugene Lee and Roy Lee; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including special friends, Gene Summers and Richard. Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Annie Lee; 3 sisters; and 6 brothers. The family would like to express special thanks to Hurley Medical Center 4th Floor staff.
