MILLER, Ms. Chanda - Age 51, passed away Monday, March 27, 2023, at her residence. Family hour 10:00 AM Saturday, April 8, 2023, from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment, Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:00 AM Saturday. Ms. Miller will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 pm-6:00 pm Friday. Chanda Chante Miller was born June 11th 1971 in Flint, Michigan at Hurley Medical Center Hospital. The daughter of Ivory Lee Miller and Jimmie Charles Miller. Graduate of Flint Beecher High School, Class of 1989, and member of True Light Baptist Church. She is the loving mother of two children and four grandchildren. Chanda is the youngest of two children, she was such a great person to everyone. She loved cooking and was a mother to so many kids in the community. Chanda loved going to bingo and taking her trips to the casino, sitting at the slots for hours, you could say that was her happy place. She loved traveling so much and seeing new things. Chanda enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and making sure her kids at the school had a good breakfast to start the day with. She loved posting pictures of the food she made, had to make sure the world knew she was taking good care of the students. Chanda loved bragging about her shows and spending time with her family. She was the life of the party, cracking jokes and laughing the nights away. Chanda Chante Miller leaves to cherish her memory: parents, Jimmie Charles Miller and Ivory Lee Miller of Mt. Morris MI; son, Demetrius Miller of Dallas, TX and daughter, Demita Miller; brother, Terry (Twanetta) Robertson and Billy (Nyesha) Lewis; sister, Yolanda Robertson; grandchildren, Darrius Miller, Josiah Miller, Charles Thomas, and Charli Thomas; nephews, Terry (Damia) Scott, Darrius Robertson, all of Flint, MI, Devante (Chasidy) Robertson of Texarkana, AK, Terrieon Robertson and Terry Robertson Jr.; nieces, Harrisha Jackson, Santaria (Sherrick) Brewers and Tatyonka Robertson, all of Flint, MI; a host of aunties, uncles, cousins, and friends with a couple specials ones, Dorthie Jimerson (Auntie) Francis Jefferson(Auntie) EllaMae Campbell (Auntie), Jerome Jimerson (Cousin), David Miller Jr (Cousin) Kendrick Miller (Cousin) Lillie Miller (Auntie), Rose Marie Whitney (Auntie) Laron Robertson (Cousin), Deontae and Demonate Eubanks (Cousins), Debbie White (Friend), Lisa Dixon (Friend), Jessica Orr (Friend), Carisa Stone (Friend), Terri Harris (Friend), Torina Sims (Friend), Verena Sims (Friend) Rosezella Bracy (friend) and Frederick Washington and Derrick Weatherspoon( Fathers/Grand Father of her kids and Grandkids) Jermaine Mclaurin (Son in Law). Chanda was preceded in death by her grandfathers, J.P Miller and James Chambers; grandmother, Catherine Miller; aunts, Lillie Miller Rose Marie Whitney and Dorthie Jimerson; uncles, David Miller, Charlie Miller, Otis Miller and Harold Robertson; cousin, Diablo Miller; special nephew, Darrius Robertson; and specials friends, Kimberly Brown, Tiffany Mayfield and Donna McKeown.
