MOSLEY, Mrs. Cathy - Age 47, passed away Friday, October 21, 2005 at Henry Ford Hospital West Bloomfield. Family hour 11:00AM Saturday, October 29, 2005 at House of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church, 1851 W. Carpenter Rd., with funeral service commencing at 12Noon. Pastor Kenneth L. Stewart, officiating. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, 5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 11:00AM Saturday. Mrs. Mosley will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 4PM-8PM Friday. Mrs. Cathy Diana Holley-Mosley was born May 8, 1958 in Birmingham, Alabama, the oldest daughter of James Augusta Lee and Rev. Faye Holley. After moving to Flint in 1961, Cathy attended and graduated from Flint Northwestern High School, "Class of 1976." On November 27, 1993, Cathy was joined in Holy Matrimony to her best friend and lifelong loving husband, James A. Mosley. She was a faithful and loving wife. She was also a faithful servant at House of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board and the Kitchen Committee. Cathy worked at Flint Planned Parenthood for 8 1/2 years as a Certified Nurse Assistant. Mrs. Cathy Diana Holley-Mosley leaves to cherish: her lifelong companion, friend and devoted husband of 12 blessed and wonderful years, James A. Mosley; the joys of her life, Chantel and Eric Mosley, both of Flint; stepchildren, Vicki (Rick) Shelden-Moore and Dona?y Buckley; 2 grandchildren including, Scottie Moore of Mississippi; loving mother, Rev. Faye Holley; sisters, Chenise Holley of Flint and Debra Holley of AL; brothers, Michael and Stephon Poole of Flint, Jeffrey (Candace) Thomas of Monterey, CA; special nieces, Jovan, Carreala and TaSanta Holley, and Tamika Thorton, all of Flint, Theresa and Stephanie Thomas of CA; nephews, Aron Poole of Flint, Cameron and Jeffery Jr. Thomas of CA; aunts, Diann Jackson, Arma Vale, Jakie Thomas, all of Flint, and Clara Bradely of Lansing, MI; uncle, Earl Thomas of Ann Arbor, MI; mother-in-law, Celestine Mosley; sisters-in-law, Vera (Thomas) Armstrong of Mosspoint, MS, Diane Mosley of FL; brothers-in-law, John (Janice) Mosley, Clifton (Christine) Mosley, all of MS, Freddy Mosley, Woodrow (Betty) Mosley, William (Ernestine) Mosley and Roosevelt Reece, all of AL, and J.C. Mrs. Cathy Diana Holley-Mosley was preceded in death by her father, James Augusta Holley; grandmother, Inez Vale; and father-in-law, A.C. Mosley.
