CHATMAN, Ms. Brittney Nicole - Age 30, passed away Monday, December 7, 2020. Ms. Chatman will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, 5710 N. Saginaw St. Ms. Brittney Nicole Chatman was born December 19, 1989 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Benjamin D. Parker and Lisa R. Chatman. Lady Brittney was raised from the age of 7 in the City of Flint, a place where she was loved beyond measure and called it “HOME.” Our Brittney attended Flint Northern High School, Baker College and Creative School of Cosmetology. As a young lady who was ambitious and a go-getter, she had many jobs with the most recent being at Helping Hands and The Landings of Genesee Valley, where her presence was appreciated and will be missed. Lady Brittney aka “Yas Ali” had a heart of gold. Yas loved doing hair and making people feel good about themselves which was her specialty. But her most precious gift was the ability to loved the kids. No matter the situation she made sure everyone's baby had food and was happy along with her mom and brothers. Lady Britt enjoyed laughing, dancing, cooking and talking with her sister was a total enjoyment for Brittney, most of all, making music, traveling, eating and spending endless moments with the love of life, DeMario was what made her the happiest. Ms. Brittney Nicole Chatman leaves to cherish her memory: fiancé, DeMario Booth of Flint; 2 daughters, Juniya Johnson and Seymone Jackson; son, Jatavius Johnson; step-child, SaMari Booth; mother, Lisa (William Walker) Chatman; father, Benjamin Parker; extra dad, Charles Boatwright, both of Youngstown, OH; grandmother, Emma Allison; 2 sisters, Britney Gibson and Peraesia Padgett, both of Youngstown, OH; 8 brothers, Brandon Chatman, Braylen Donaldson, Isaiah Donaldson, all of Flint, Isaac Chatman, Arguise Miller, Cory Parker, Kaymond Alexander and Benjamin Parker Jr., all of Youngstown, OH; a host of special nieces including, Erin Earnest, Kennedi Strong and Amani Chatman; a host of nephews including special nephew, Braylen Earnest; aunts, Laverne Chatman of Columbus, OH, Gertrude (Marlon) McGaugh, DeDee Parker and Alicia Parker, all of Youngstown, OH and many others; a host of unlces including, Larry (Seymone) Chatman, Terry Chatman, all of Columbus, OH and Willie (Patricia) Chatman of Youngstown, OH; a host of cousins including, Terrance Chatman and Jennifer Sibley; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Dee Spiller, Sharell Spiller, Tina Spiller and Shalonda Strong. Ms. Chatman was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Ida Mae Chatman, Charlie Mae Chatman and Florence; grandfather, Ben. The family would like express special thanks to Lawrence E.
