WILLIAMS, Ms. Bridgette - Age 43, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Living Word Ministry, 2001 W. Carpenter Rd., with funeral service commencing at 12noon. Interment Sunset Hills Association, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 11 a.m. Tuesday. Ms. Williams will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. Monday. Bridgette Sharese Williams, affectionately known as “Queen B”, made her transition to be with the Lord Friday, March 6, 2015 at Hurley Medical Center. Surrounded by her loving children and family after fighting a strong and courageous battle against Breast Cancer. She was born March 22, 1971 in Flint, MI to the union of Mr. Ernest (Bice) and Marlene (Marks) Williams. Bridgette became a member of Pasadena Church of God Sanctified. Under the leadership of the late Elder I.T. Street. She accepted Christ at an early age, and loved singing in the choir and assisting in numerous areas of the church’s ministry. Bridgette graduated from Flint Central high school, class of 1989. She received an Associate degree from Mott Community College and a Certificate of Cosmetology from Mott School of Transitions. A skilled professional she was employed as a licensed CNA and cosmetologist, with a flair for hair. Bridgette had an infectious smile and was a fun, loving, soul who never met a stranger. She loved her children, godchildren, and granddaughter; As well as her family and friends. She enjoyed listening to music, watching TV and sports. Bridgette was known for calling and holding you on the phone (like her mother), not saying a word. She had a fierce personality that fueled her passion to fight and survive in life. She was loved and admired by all who knew her. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved children; daughters, Karess Perkins, Lakair Evans, Kamryn Williams; son, Jerome Evans Jr. all of Flint, MI; grandchild, Heiress Smith of Flint, MI; godchildren, Arielle Bell of Cincinnati, OH, Amari Bell and Pontsdailyont Pounds both of Swartz Creek, MI, Javarrious Jourdan of Flint, MI; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest and. Marlene (Marks) Williams of Flint, MI; grandparents, Harold and Dorothy Williams of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Shayla, Tenaha Williams of Flint, MI, Earnisha Williams of Southfield, MI, and Ramona Rogers of Fort. Bragg, NC; brother, Sergio (Shannon) Thomas Sr. of Grand Blanc, MI; nieces, Emani Price, Skylar Thames, Nykhia Chaney all of Flint, MI, Sydney Thomas of Grand Blanc, MI, Rashawna Jackson and Jasmine Goodrum of Shreveport, LA; nephews, Ernest Mack of Marshall, TX, Sergio Thomas Jr. of Grand Blanc, MI, Therron Jackson of Shreveport, LA; aunts, Jackie Turner and Tekilla (Keith) Reaves both of Flint, MI, Mary (Berlyn) Kidd of Grand Blanc, MI, Olga (Melvin) Jones of Clarkston, MI, Dorothy Bell Thomas, Ella (Therman) Brouchet of Beaumont, TX, Luretha (Melvin) Adams of Mt. Morris, MI, John “West” Williams of Sicily Island, LA, and David Lewis Williams of Beaumont, TX; along with a host of other cousins and other relatives in Louisiana, Georgia, Texas and Michigan, including special “sisters”, Tasha Smith of Nashville, TN, Saunceria Marks, Tracy Atkinson, “The Diva Girls” Lisa Cooper, Lamonica Tolliver and Erica Watson, all of Flint, MI; including special friends, Jerome Evans Sr. and Lujuan Dyer. “You were all there throughout her ordeal!” Bridgette was preceded in death by her grandparents, Pearce and Annie T. Williams and Jneedo Williams; aunts, Marguerite Marks, Lizzie Mae Williams, Sandra Jefferson; uncles, Bobby Marks, Jesse Williams, Charles Turner; special cousin, Keyla Adams; along with several other relatives and friends that welcomed her into Heaven. The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Mikhail, Dr. Danish, Dr. E.
