Mrs. Bonnie Jean Wynn

WYNN, Mrs. Bonnie Jean - Age 58, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at her residence. Family hour 10:30 AM Friday, April 7, 2017 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM, Apostle Dontez Williams, officiating. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Chapel 10:30 AM on Friday. Mrs. Wynn will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed 2:00 PM-8:00 PM on Thursday. Mrs. Bonnie Jean Wynn was born August 21, 1958 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of J.W. and Catherine McGregory. She attended Flint Central High School and was employed by General Motors until 1985. Bonnie was a member of Saved By Grace-Flint Campus (formally A Word In Season Christian Fellowship) for over 20 years. Bonnie was known for having a heart of gold; her listing ear, and telling others how good God is. She enjoyed going to church, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and watching sports, especially her favorite team The Michigan State Spartans. Mrs. Bonnie Jean Wynn leaves to cherish her memory: daughters, Ebony (Terry) Powell, Hiroshima Wynn and Malaysia Wynn; son, Leviticus Wynn; grandchildren, Lorenzo “Dollie” Nelson Jr., Malachi “Golden Child” Ross, Davontay “Tayter Pop” Ross Jr., Levertis “Trey” Wynn III, Lucas Wynn, Markell Davis, and Keyonna Davis; sisters, Beverly (Walter) Willis, Sharon (Darryl) Poindexter, Cheryl (Tony) Hale, and Bernice (Harvey) Marve; brother, Marcell McGregory; uncle, Virgil Spears; brother-in-law, James Wynn; special nephew, Louis “Boo” Spears; special nieces, LaDraia Wells and Monica Buchanon; special friends, Cassie Luster, Charlotte Williams, Judith Nolden and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Wynn was preceded in death by her husband; Levertis Wynn Sr.; parents J.W. and Catherine McGregory; brother, J.B. McGregory; and god mother, Mae Spearman.
