Mr. Antonio Corey Ferguson

FERGUSON, Mr. Antonio - Age 48, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital-Flint. Family hour 10:30 AM Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Church Without Walls Ministries, 6202 Dupont St., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM Pastor Martez Warren Host Pastor , Pastor Kenneth Frierson Officiating. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30 AM Saturday. Mr. Ferguson will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday. Mr. Antonio C. Ferguson Sr. was born June 12, 1969 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Louis Sr. and Lee Verdia Ferguson. He attended Beecher High School and was a member of Greater Works Christian Center. Antonio served in the United States Navy and was Honorably Discharged. He was united in Holy Matrimony to his wife, Marie on August 17, 2002. Antonio enjoyed watching TV, fishing and talking about the Navy. He was known as a Mr. Fix-it. Antonio took pride in his appearance and was very neat. He loved his wife and family and also took pride in taking care of them. Antonio indeed was a family man. Mr. Antonio C. Ferguson Sr. leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Marie Ferguson; daughter, Antonia Ferguson; son, Antonio Ferguson Jr.; 2 step-children, Ineisha Skinner and Daquan Skinner; 4 grandchildren, Carter Ferguson, Nyla Williams, Laila Dunn and Ja’Kayla Dunn; mother, Lee Verdia Ferguson; father, Louis Ferguson Sr.; 2 sisters, Valrie Walton, all of Flint and Linda Marshall of Atlanta, GA; 4 brothers, Kenneth (Niki) Ferguson of Flint, Louis Ferguson Jr. (Ayana Minter) of San Diego, CA, Sam Marshall and Cedric Ferguson, both of Flint; a host of nieces including 3 special nieces, Charmaine Ferguson, Adrian Ferguson and Dominique Sherrod; a host of nephews including special nephew, Jeffery Ferguson; sister-in-law, Nicole Barfield; 4 brothers-in-law, Andre Barfield, both of Flint, Carlos Barfield, Mario Barfield and David Barfield, all of Columbus, OH; a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends including special friend, Jimmy Barfield. Mr. Ferguson was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ira and Jesse Mae Ferguson; uncle, Robert Lee Ferguson; step-mother, Bertha Mae Ferguson; mother-in-law, Theresa McIntosh.
