WILSON, Mr. Annise, Jr. (Affectionately called Wilson, June, and PaPa) - Age 61, departed this life on Friday, February 11, 2005 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:30AM Saturday, February 19, 2005 at Foss Avenue Baptist Church, 1159 E. Foss Ave., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11AM. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 11AM. Mr. Wilson will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Friday, February 18, 2005. Mr. Annise Wilson, Jr. (Affectionately called Wilson, June, and PaPa) was born on January 25, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Clarence Jones (Ananise Wilson Sr.), Essie Thames. Annise grew up in Lake View Arkansas, where he confessed in Christ at an early age. Later relocating to Flint, where he attended and graduated from Flint Central High School. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of employment, and was a member of UAW Local 599. Annise enjoyed sports, fishing, and loved listening to Smokey Robinson. On October 4, 1974 Annise Wilson, Jr. united in Holy Matrimony to Earlene Williams. Annise is survived by his wife, Earlene; mother, Essie Thames of Flint; children, Michael, Debra. Cynthia, Urlunda (Marlon), Arron (Almakea), and Stephanie; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Jimmie (Henrietta) Wilson of Lake View, AR, and Bobby Willis of Chicago; 2 aunts, Theresa Jones of Detroit, MI, Willie Coleman of Flint; 2 uncles, William Willis, Hosey (Betty) Willis, both of Little Rock, AR; in-laws, Annie Belle (Eddie Walter) Lee of MN, Elbert (Malinda) Williams of Chicago, Lorene Edwards, Joyce (Charles) Thomas, all of Minneapolis, MN, Maxine (Frank) Crosby, Jr. of Chicago; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, other relatives and friends, Henry, Alfred, Columbus, Jimmy, Roy, and Gwen. Annise is preceded in death by his father; and both sets of grandparents, Cleveland (Alice) Wilson and Will (Ella) Willis. The family would like to express special thanks to the Hurley Medical Center Neurological ICU Unit staff.
