JOHNSON, Mrs. Annie - Age 93, passed away Monday, October 1, 2007 at her residence. Family hour 10:30AM Thursday, October 11, 2007 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11AM. Eld. Kenneth L. Stewart officiating. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, 5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30AM Thursday. Mrs. Johnson will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Wednesday. Mrs. Annie Maude Johnson was born May 2, 1914 in Deezer, Mississippi, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cleaver and Martha Seagar. Annie was a resident of Flint, Michigan. She attended a few churches here in Flint, but her home church was in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Annie was a homemaker and loved her family and flower garden, she even had a food garden. Annie was interested in helping people when she could, even when they didn't need help she was there. Mrs. Annie Maude Johnson leaves to cherish her memory: hushand, James Johnson of 67 years; 2 sons, James Morse (Elaine) McGhee, Jr. and Charles (Honey) McGhee; grandchildren, Larissa, Matthew, Lukus, Morse McGhee of Flint, Sheila (Brian) of Norristown, PA, James III, Marcus McGhee of Allentown, PA, Charles, Jr, Tommy, Jimmy and Rodney McGhee of Chicago, IL, Mickey and Jackie McGhee of Gary, IN, Claudett McGhee of Chicago, IL, Evelyn Stubbs of Milwaukee, WS and many more; great-grandchildren, Yolanda and David Burns of Chicago, IL, Brittany, Jaheem, Angel and Antrice McGhee Brian Knight, Jr., all of Flint, Brianna, Kandice and Tyreke Epright of Norristown, PA and many more; 2 brothers, J.C. Hill and Willie Jones both of Jonesboro, AR; nieces, Virginia "Babysister" of Marktree, AR, Sue of Jonesboro, AR, Lula Mae and Lucille of Shelby, MS and many more; cousins, Floyd (Donna) Davidson of Portland, OR, Wallace Davis of St. Louis, MO, and Fred (Pauline) Davidson of Eugene, OR and many more; a host of other relatives a friends. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her son, Charles; grandsons, Joseph and Marvin McGhee; great-granddaughter, Melissa Toria McGhee; parents, Martha and Clever Seagar; aunts; uncles; and many more.
