ALLEN, Mrs. Anastasia (Bunchy) Mauraunder - Age 58, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022 at her residence. Family hour 1:30 PM Friday, June 10, 2022 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM. Dr. Paul Musson, officiating. Friends and family will assemble at the Chapel 1:30 PM Friday. Mrs. Allen will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Ms. Anastasia Maurander Allen “Bunchy” age 58, went home to be with the Lord on May 28, 2022. Anastasia was born May 11, 1964 in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Carrie Lee Allen and the late Albert Altoro Allen. She was baptized at a young age at New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church and believed strongly in Christ. Anastasia was a Model with Edward Modeling School and Harriet Walker. She was loved by many. Anastasia enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, riding her scooter to the store and going on outings. Her door was always open to others no matter what. Anastasia was a humanitarian of her community. She received her GED in 1992 and her Paralegal in 1994 from Mercy College. Ms. Anastasia Maurander Allen leaves to cherish her memory: mother, Carrie Allen; 2 daughters, Porsha and Carrie Allen; 5 grandchildren, Ayannah Allen-Weathersby, Kevin Terrell Morris III, Peyton Allen, Messiah Green and Kentrell Moore, all of Flint; brother, Lamont (Ora) Allen of Detroit, MI; sisters, Charmel (Phillip) Robinson of New York and Pamela (Anthony) Sparkling of Indiana; step-children, Shanae Williams, Corneisha and Cornelius Thomas, all of Flint; aunts, Shelia Butler, Joyce Allen, Kimiko Allen, all of Warren, OH and Wilma Shine of Flint; nieces, Kimberly Lorick of Flint, Brooklyn Sparkling of Chicago, IL and Treasure Sparkling of Indiana; nephew, Robert Allen Jr. of Flint; great-niece and great-nephew, Mckenzie and Braxton, both of Flint; god-children, Nykeeia, Katrese, Deshan and Poshiann Atkins, all of Flint; god-sisters, Debra Woods; god-brother, Greg Spiller; a host of other relatives and friends including special cousins, Carmella Moss, Alexia Patrick “Cinderella”, Crystal Fleming, Mandy Harris, all of Flint, Linda (Terry) Edwards of Grand Blanc, MI; special friends, Gregory Chandler, Darnell Nolan, Christine Griffin, Ms. Janette Edwards, Susan Young, Robbie Taylor and Kevin Willis.
