RAULS, Mr. Alvin "Boo" - Age 27, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2006. Funeral Service Thursday, December 14, 2006 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 2PM. Eld. Zack Smith officiating. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, G-5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 2PM Thursday. Mr. Rauls will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Wednesday. Alvin O'Dale Rauls was born September 3, 1979 in Flint, Michigan, the son Jacqueline Rauls Calip and Alvin D. Lewis. Alvin "Boo" Rauls was a life-long resident of Flint, Michigan. He went to live with his paternal grandparents at an early age and resided with them until the angels were dispatched to his that Tuesday to take him home. Alvin was christened at an early age and was a product of Flint Schools. He loved life, and enjoyed seeing and making everyone around him laugh. Anyone who knew him could tell you that Alvin met no strangers. He considered everyone he met a "friend". Alvin was full of talent, as demonstrated by his ability to draw, his artistic penmanship, and love for writing songs, raps, and poetry, but above all, he loved his children and did his best to show it. Finally, Alvin recently made his peace with God and thus became active in services at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Alvin O. Rauls leaves to cherish his memory: 2 sons, Kasino J. and Stephan L. Rauls both of Flint; parents, Jacqueline Rauls (Paul Gene) Calip of Lindale, TX and Alvin Dale Lewis of Flint; grandparents, Della Berry Rauls and Emma D. Lewis both of Flint; sisters, Lashawnda Nicole Lovett, Tia D. and Unique M. Gaines; step-sisters, Paula Yeager of Lindale, TX, Netorya and Vakycha Calip both of Flint; brothers, Alonzo Williams of Detroit, and Osaric Terry-Dye of Flint; aunts, Sabrenda (William) Ivory, Melvina J. Rauls and Gigi Lewis, all of Flint; uncles, Carmen (Brenda) Rauls, Ricky (Sherry) Rauls, Keith Rauls, all of Flint, Larvelt Rauls of Lindale, TX, and Justin Lewis of Tuscaloosa, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends including special friends and companion, Patrice Jackson of Flint, Cadina Johnson of Tyler, TX, Lil Chris Calip of Lindale, TX, godfather, Ronald Dendy of Flint, and Baltimore Street friends. Mr. Rauls was preceded in death by his grandfathers, George Rauls, Jr. and Artis Lewis; and aunt Barbara Ann Rauls. The family would like to express special thanks to the many friends and family members for all acts of kindness, support and compassion shown during this difficult time.
