MALONE, Mr. Willie C., - Age 93, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 in Holly, Michigan. Family hour and Viewing 10:30 AM Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Funeral Home, 10:30 AM Tuesday. Mr. Malone will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed during the family hour only. Mr. Wille C. Malone of Holly, Michigan, age 93, died April 22, 2022 at Appomattox Group Home in Holly, Michigan. Willie was born December 18, 1928 in Hayti, Missouri. He became ill at a young age which affected his cognitive development, but he loved all people and Wille had a contagious smile. His hobbies were collecting toy cars and trucks and watering his garden. Mr. Willie C. Malone is survived by: brother, Robert Parrish, Sr.; sister, Naomi Jones; many nieces, nephews, and special cousins, Elder M.C. King of Chicago, IL and Reverend Jamesella Dennis of Los Angeles, CA. Mr. Malone was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Malone and Luessie Parrish; brothers, Henry Lee Jones and Elder Eddie Parrish. The family would like to express a special appreciation to Appomattox Group Home for over 30 years of care. They truly loved Willie and treated him as their own family member. Those that gave care and ran the home were Josephine Feijoo and Renee Ostrom, but the remainder of the staff there showed Willie love and compassion. The Jones family would like to show appreciation to Ascension Genesys Hospital of Grand Blanc Township, Michigan, and Compassus Hospice Care for their services.
