Mr. Victor Levon Ivy, "The Mighty One," was born December 11, 1963, in Jackson, Mississippi, the son of Maxine Veal Ivy and Henry Ivy. He moved, at the age of two, with his family, to Flint, Michigan. Victor graduated from Flint Public Schools and later became a licensed Automotive Mechanic. Cars were not his only forte; he was a jack of all trades and a Survivalist. If one were ever stranded, you would call Victor. He would take care of you, protect you, keep you safe and secure. Victor could construct anything or destruct. He was a bull in a china shop, known for ALWAYS breaking something. His favorite word was "Oops." Also, Victor was an avid cyclist. He loved listening to all genres of music while riding his bike. Riding was one of his greatest passions, in addition to spending time with his family. Mr. Ivy enjoyed learning about Jehovah and having bible studies. There was never a dull moment with Victor around. Nothing he would not do for us, his family. We loved him; he loved us. Victor was never "Heavy." He was our brother and will be missed terribly. Mr. Victor Levon Ivy leaves to cherish his memory: two sons, Jeremy (Gabrielle) Townsend, of Flint, MI, and Jerry (Shawn) Townsend of Atlanta, GA; grandson, Jaiden Townsend; three sisters, Sharon Ivy Williams of Flint, Angela Ivy of Columbus, OH, Katherine Sangster of Flint; three brothers, Kenny (Abigail) Ivy of Leslie, MI, Lorenzo (Tundra) Ivy of Atlanta GA, Jimmie Ivy of Flint; three agnate brothers, Michael Clark, Steven Ivy, and Vicent Clark all of Chicago, IL; his Uncle Cleo (Sheila) Veal of Atlanta, GA; five aunts, Sandra Veal Childress of Flint, Vanessa Williams of Byram, MS, Gloria Jean Moore of Jackson, MS, Janet Goodrum of Atlanta, GA, Linda Ivy Watkins of Chicago, IL; one great-aunt Doris Rice of Flint; nine nieces, Taneesha and Tamika Williams, Kierra, Jessica, and Jasha Ivy, Jackie Collins, Elexus Harris, Orisha Starr Willingham, and Tyranesha Clark; five nephews Camron, Gavin, and Antron Ivy, Jacob Collins; special brother, Timothy Williams; special great-nephews, Tyanthony and Dontray Lewis; special cousins, Erneisha Lay, Yazid Husamaldeem (Terrell Hunter), Dionne Hackett, Tiffany Twine, DaReece Lafitte, Monica Graseiono, Rushad Childress, Clyde Childess Jr., Latroy Childress; four brothers from another mother, Leroy, Jackie, Darnell, and Ralph Pollard; special friend, Marlene Ivy.
