WOODS, Mr. Terance Lashawn - Age 45, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022, at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 1:30 PM Tuesday, April 26, 2022, from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM, Pastor David Rodgers, officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 PM Tuesday. Mr. Woods will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Monday. Mr. Terance Lashawn Woods was born July 6, 1976 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Johnnie Mae Woods and Victor Young. Mr. Terance loved to play football, where he attended Beecher Community Schools. In his free time, he enjoyed cutting hair. Mr. Woods had dreams of becoming a Barber. He was also a Rapper and singer. Mr. Woods was a all around dad. He also enjoyed spending quality time with family especially his mother and his 2 brothers, Cedrick and Germaine, his “Woodboys”. Mr. Terance Lashawn Woods leaves to cherish in God’s hands: mother, Johnnie Mae Woods; brother, Cedrick and Germaine, all of Flint; children, Nakeyia (Daujhan) and Nautia of Burton, MI, Terance Woods Jr. of Flint, Teress, Jayden and Olivia of Atlanta, GA and Destiney Brewton of Pine Bluff, AR; 6 grandchildren; girlfriend, Terese Evans of Flint; a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Woods was preceded in death by his father, Victor Young; grandparent, Evelyn and John Woods. The family would like to express special thanks to Hurley Medical Center and Lawrence E.
