HART, Mother Nina Mae - Age 81, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:30 AM Tuesday, January 25, 2022, from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30 AM Tuesday. Mother Hart will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Monday with family present from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM to receive friends.Mother Nina Mae Hart went home to be with the Lord on January 15, 2022. Mother Hart was the oldest of seven born to Wakefield and Mary K. Johnson. She confessed her faith in Christ at a early age. Mother Hart loved everyone she came in contact with and everyone loved her. She was employed at Hurley Medical Center for 37 years. After retiring from Hurley, she worked at the Surgery Center for 20 years. There she made many friends. Mother Hart was a member of Christian Love Faith Center. She loved the Lord first and foremost, and she always kept God first in her life. Mother Hart also loved her family, fishing, bowling, gardening, cooking, canning, knitting, crocheting, hunting, sewing, playing cards and being the BOSS. Mother Nina Mae Hart leaves to cherish her memory: son, James (Denice) Hart of Humble, TX; 3 daughters, Katherine Brown of Flint, Shelia (Terry) Hart-Nash of Westland, MI and Sheryl Woods of Louisville, KY; 6 grandchildren, LaTravis Hart, LaShai Diggs, Meghan Hart, Shelia Rene Hart, Ayana Luckett and LaRonna (Anthony) Barnett; a host of great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Joyce Johnson of Flint, Josalind (Edward) Moore, Kathy Townsend, all of Forest, MS and Carol Jones of Memphis, TN; ; brother-in-law, John Hart of Lebanon, KY; a host of nieces including special niece, Janice Holbrook; a host of nephews, cousins and friends including special friends, Robert Harriston and family, James Luster and family. Mother Hart was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert R. Hart; sons, Bobby L. Johnson, Pastor Herbert M. Hart and Eugene Clemons; daughters, Shirley Luckett and Jane Hart; grandsons, James Hart Jr. and Yafeu Hart; brother, James A. Johnson.
