BANKS, Mrs. Michael Ann - Age 80, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Banks will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Ms. Michael Ann Banks was born March 21, 1942 in Yellowspring, Ohio, the daughter of Anne Stevens and Chester Mundy. Michael was a resident of Flint, Michigan and a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. She graduated from Flint Central High School. Michael was employed at Hurley Medical Center as a Housekeeping Aide for 30 years. Her hobbies were attending Hasselbring Senior Center for all sorts of activities. She did latch hooking, knitting, sewing and making clothes on her sewing machine. Michael also enjoyed traveling and going to resorts and casinos. Ms. Michael Ann Banks leaves to cherish her memory: 2 daughters, Regina Ann Banks and LaTonia Denise Banks; 3 sons, Larry Severe Banks, Darnell Banks and Darrow Dewight Cox; step-son, Antonio Rush; grandchildren, Sarina Sharice Banks of Sterling Heights, MI, Veldez Marquinn Banks of Flint, Dominique Danielle Woodson of Nashville, TN, Jeremiah Malik Banks, Javon Mahkal Banks, Chavez Davonte Banks, Trevon Juan Banks, all of Flint, Deja Banks and Arnell Banks; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters; 1 brother, 9 nieces; 7 nephews; 6 aunts; 2 uncles; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Gloria Burns and Shelia King. Ms. Banks was preceded in death by her husband, Arnell D. Cox; parents, Anne Stevens and Chester Mundy. The family would like to express special thanks to Charles Mundy and family for contributing towards their aunt, Michael Ann Banks.
