WILLIAMS, Mr. Lonnie - Age 52, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 1:30 PM Monday, June 13, 2022 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM. Pastor Jenard Lakes, officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the chapel 1:30 PM Monday. Mr. Williams will lie in state in the chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Sunday. Mr. Lonnie Lee Williams was born April 24, 1970 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Lee Andrew and Diane Lynn Williams. Lonnie attended Flint Northwestern High School and classes at Mott College. He was employed by the City of Flint. Lonnie enjoyed fishing, Karaoke, cars and spending time with his family. He was very humorous and enjoyed life. Lonnie was very outspoken and loved to travel. He was open to new endeavors such as, horse back riding, playing Scrabble. Lonnie enjoyed life with his wife and grandkids. His favorite words were, “BAMMM and I throw hands.” Mr. Lonnie Lee Williams leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Pamela Donerson-Williams of Flint; daughter, Lonnisha Williams; god-son, Kelvin Miles Jr.; grandchildren, Aarion Turner, Amir Turner, Aiden Turner and Ava Turner; father, Lee Andrew Williams; sister, Wanda Williams; brother Corry Howell; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; aunt, Earnestine Williams-Burnett; 2 uncles, Albert “Jimmy” Williams and Glemon (Barbara) Allmon; in-laws, Tommy (Cleola) Donerson; sister-in-law, Tavier Donerson; brother-in-law, Tommy Lavella Donerson; special birthday twin-niece, Rachuan (Chevize) Williams-King; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Kelvin Miles, Milan Boose, Terence Beard, Tommy Maclin, Robert Scott, Jemini Smith, Joe Brown, Fred Smith, Mike Lyons, Wantez Davis and Tony Allen. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Lynn Williams; grandparents, Alex Houston Sr., Dorthy Mae Jenkins, Gladys Lee Williams and Isiah Williams; brother, Derikeo Williams Sr.; aunts, Lanie Alexander and Melinda “Birdie” Williams; uncles, Alex Houston and James Williams; best friend, Aaron Beard.The family would like to express special thanks to the City of Flint, Hurley Medical Center 5 East, NISB, Eric Dekoski, Monica Clark-Dickerson and Flint Night Riders.
