WILLIAMS, Mr. James Frank "Big Jimmie" - Age 76, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2005 at Heritage Manor Center. Family hour 10:30AM Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at God's Tabernacle of Truth Church, 4056 N. Saginaw St. Rev. Richard Mosley officiating. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30AM Wednesday. Mr. Williams will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12Noon-8PM Tuesday. Mr. James Frank Williams was born February 6, 1929 in Harris County, Georgia, the son of Mr. John Williams and Mrs. Laura (Hollis) Williams. He retired from General Motors-Grand Blanc, MI and enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading western novels, watching western movies and traveling to visit family and friends. Mr. James Frank Williams leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of 58 years, Precious (Walton) Williams; 5 daughters, Walethia Coleman of Bowling Green, KY, Gwendolyn (Jessie) Cook of Burlington, TN, Cassandra (Carlton) Earnest, Shawana Williams, and Kimmie Tyler; 3 sons, Rory James Williams, Percival (Deanna) Williams, Gerald Williams of Charlotte, NC; 22 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Sarah Cook and Johnnie Mae Brown of Columbus,GA; 2 brothers, Elijah Williams of Waverly Hall, GA, Walter (Charlotte) Williams of Flint; 2 sisters-in-law, Elaine Walton of Atlanta, GA, Princella (Woody) Woods of Twenty-nine Palms, CA; 2 brothers-in-law, John Grady of Baldwin, MI, and George Walton of Virginia Beach, VA; very special niece, Alma Tate of Flint; a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends including special friends, Allen Beaty of Mississippi, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hillard of South Carolina, Thomas Smith of Los Angeles, CA, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Maston of Flint, and Phillip Matthews of Flint. Mr. James Frank Williams was preceded in death by his 2 granddaughters; parents; sister; brother.
