Mr. James Edward Presnall

March 30, 1945 - June 6, 2022

PRESNALL, Mr. James - Age 77, passed away Monday, June 6, 2022 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 1:30 PM Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM. Friends and family will assemble at the Chapel 1:30 PM Tuesday. Mr. Presnall will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Monday. Mr. James Edward Presnall was born March 30, 1949 in Grove Hill, Alabama to the Late Archie and Ethel Presnall. James departed this life on June 6, 2022. He served as a Combat Soldier in the Vietnam War. Upon receiving an Honorable Discharge, he married the love of his life, Tiny. They were married for 54 years and from that union they have 2 daughters, Veronica and Lucetia. They have 6 grandchildren, Demetrice, Travino, Lexi, Mulan, Nicholas and Chris; 3 great-grandchildren, Dontavis, JaCorey and Amir. He leaves to cherish his memory, devoted wife, Tiny Presnall; sister, Ann Davis Hampton; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. James Presnall was a jack-of-all-trades, master mechanic, computer wiz, mathematician, philosopher, comedian and most of all never met a stranger and showed unconditional love. James was a life time member of the American Legion and the Veteran’s of Foreign Wars (VFW). He was also a member of Eureka Lodge F.& A.M. #16. Mr. Presnall was preceded in death by his grandson, Demetrius Presnall; sister, Corrine McCall, Annie Ruth Edgar, Archie Lee Brewton and Eunice Matthews; brothers, Moses “Jabo” Presnall, Melvin Presnall, Curtis Presnall and Booker Presnall; Parents, Archie and Ethel Presnall.
