January 19, 1942 - August 25, 2021

INGRAM, Mrs. Eunice Lee - Age 79, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, MI. Family hour 12:00 PM Saturday, September 4, 2021 at New Heaven Missionary Baptist Church, G-3184 W. Pierson Rd., with funeral service commencing at 1:00 PM Pastor Joseph Jenkins, officiating. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 12:00 PM Saturday. Mrs. Ingram will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Friday. Eunice Lee Ingram was born January 19, 1942 in Lower Peachtree, Alabama, to proud parents, the late Lewis Douglas Carlton Sr. and Allie Marie Clark-Carlton. She was affectionately called by her many nieces and nephews, “Aunt Woose”. Eunice graduated from High School with honors. She attended Mott Community College and received an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Nursing in May of 1975. Eunice was a resident of Flint, Michigan since 1966. She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late John Lee Ingram on December 6, 1971. Eunice was employed at AC Spark Plug, which was renamed Delphi in 1995, a division of General Motors Corporation for 32.5 years and retired in 1999. She was a member of UAW Local #651. Her hobbies included, cooking, writing and helping others. She was a faithful member of New Heaven Missionary Baptist Church for over forty-three years. Eunice served in numerous ministries: Nurses, Chairman of the Kitchen Committee, Pastor’s Aide, Jail, Hospitality and Security. Also, she served as the Secretary of the Church. Eunice was a member of International F & M Masons and Order of the Eastern Stars (Second Marion Anderson #65) serving as Worthy Matron for thirty plus years. Eunice graduated from the United Bible Institute (UBI) of United Theological Seminary. She earned a Bachelor of Religious Education (BRE), and a Master of Religious Education (MRE) degrees. Eunice was an honor student when she was attending (UBI). Also, she was an Instructor of Greek. Eunice Lee Ingram leaves to keep her memory alive: 2 loving daughters, Twinet (Rev. Joseph) Jenkins of Flint Twp., MI and Sonceria Ford of Grand Blanc, MI; 4 adorable sons, Cecil (Angie) Ingram of Birmingham, AL, Calvin Ingram of Tucson, AZ, Christopher Ingram and Bryan Ingram, both of Flint Twp., MI; son-in-law, Martwaz Ford of Flint Twp., MI; grandchildren, Brent, Joshua, Will, Brandon, Malik, Christal, Jae, Maya, Chrisshell, Martwaz II, Meesha, and many others too numerous to name; brother, Lewis (Maxine) Carlton Jr. of Mobile, AL; 2 sisters-in-law, Edna Toles of Flint and Vestula Harris of Louisville, MS; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Eunice extended family consists of: beloved special daughter/niece, Janice Neal; other daughters, Glenda Henderson, Arlene Jackson, Laina Schmidt, Jean Jackson and many other daughters; special sisters, Clara Thornton, Robecca Smith and Lillie Wilkes; special devoted son, John Clark and many other sons; several dear friends, Bobbie Rouser, Gloria Cook, Johnnie Johnson, Marlene Robinson, Maryanne Smiley and many more friend too numerous to name. Eunice was preceded in death by, husband, John L. Ingram; parents, Lewis Douglas Carlton Sr. and Allie Marie Clark-Carlton; sister, Alziah M. Davis and numerous other relatives. The family would like to express special thanks to the doctors and nurses at McLaren-Flint and Genesys Ascension Hospital especially Dr. Walter White (Coach), Pastors, Elder & First Lady Matthew Jackson of Refuge Temple Church of Flint, Rev. John Dees of Emmanuel A.M.E. in Mobile, Alabama, Paulette Adams and Lonetta Bowers for their many acts of kindness. Special thanks to the many friends and family and the SIM Security. Thanks also goes to Pastor Joseph Jenkins and the New Heaven Missionary Baptist Church family and Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home.
