JONES, Mr. Eric "Bo" - Age 41, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022, at his residence. Family hour 1:30 PM Wednesday, June 1, 2022, from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM Pastor Lawrence Vaughn officiating. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery, G-4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 1:30 PM Wednesday. Mr. Jones will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Tuesday.Mr. Eric Danell Jones “Bo” was born August 23, 1980 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Roderick Adair and Ava Renē Jones. Eric graduated from Flint Northwestern High School. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served 8 years. He was a loving father, son, brother and cousin. Eric had so many cousins and he loved being around them all. One of his many joys was playing video games with his son and taking pictures with his fiancé. Mr. Eric Danell Jones leaves in God’s care: mother, Ava (David) Thompson; 2 daughters, Janajia Rene Lee of North Carolina and Corrina Lachelle Jones; son, Eric Danell Jones Jr., both of Flint; fiancé, LaShondra Morris of Detroit, MI; 3 sisters, Radreena Adair, Tenesha and Larenda Thompson; 2 brothers, Roderick and Cheokee Adair; 9 aunts, Annie Lockett, Linda Jones, Victoria (Clee) Cooper, all of Flint, Brenda Simpson of Utah, Penny Jones of Minnesota, Paulette (Michael) Thompson of Atlanta, GA, Rose Adair and Samatha Adair; 4 uncles, Joe Henry Jones, Zephniah (Sonia) Jones, George Adair and Bernard Adair, all of Flint; a host of cousins including, Dionte Jones, Gary Cain, D’Michael Jones, Maurice Simpson, Michael Thompson Jr., Tiffany Davis, Ebonique Fluker and Latia Sutton; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Alphonzo Pittman an Leontray Weston. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his father, Roderick Adair; grandmothers, Corintha Jones and Brenda Adair.
