Mr. Duncan Eric Pea Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

PEA, Mr. Duncan Eric - Age 63, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at his residence. Family hour 10:00 AM Saturday, July 30, 2022 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM. Rev. Fred Fletcher, officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the chapel 10:00 AM Saturday. Mr. Pea will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Friday. Mr. Duncan Eric Pea was born December 9, 1958 in Flint, Michigan. The son of Sherwood and Lula Pea. Duncan loved God and was baptized at an early age. He attended the Flint Community School System graduating from Flint Central High School. Duncan was an excellent student and athlete. He excelled in football, wrestling an track. Duncan loved sports and won countless medals and accolades. He went on to earn his Bachelor Degree from Michigan State University. Duncan worked for General Motors Corporation for 15 years where he met his lovely devoted wife, LaGene and they have 3 beautiful children, Eryrka, Eris and Eric. He has 2 beautiful daughters from a previous marriage, Shakya and Shyann. Duncan was currently employed with the United States Postal Service. He resided in Lake Orion, MI with his family. Duncan was kind, thoughtful and caring, he was involved in their lives in everyway. Every November he bled green and white; Go Green! Go White! Duncan was preceded in death by his grandson, Preston Moore Jr.; grandparents, Dea. Jake Parks, Sweetie M. Parks, Horace O. and Theola F. Pea; sister, Tanya E. Pea; niece, Charianna Pea; nephew, Desmond L. Toney. Mr. Duncan Eric Pea leaves to cherish his memory: beloved and devoted wife, LaGene Dillon-Pea; 5 children, Shakya, Shyann, Erykka, Eris and Eric Pea; grandchildren, Premiere Moore, Parelle Moore, A’amon’e Harris, Darin Carlton III, Kylan Pea and Amiri Pea; parents, Sherwood and Lula Pea; brother, Sherwood (Betty) Pea Jr.; father and mother-in-law, EuGene and Sandra Dillon; sisters-in-law, Renita Brown, Tamiko Brown and Nikysha (Lamar) Watkins; brothers-in-law, Adrian Brown (Vema) and EuGene (Tasha) Dillon III; special cousin and friend, Kendall Reaves of Texas; special friends, the Howard, Cooley, Hickman and Robinson families; and a beautiful host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
