HARRIS, Mr. Deron Arthur - Age 60, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, MI. Family hour 1:30 PM Friday, June 24, 2022 From the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM Rev. Patrick Sanders II, officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the Funeral Home 1:30 PM Friday. Mr. Harris will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed Thursday from 12:00 PM-6:00 PM. Mr. Deron Harris was born October 17, 1961 in Flint, Michigan, the son of C.J. and Jenett Harris. Deron was a lifelong resident of Flint and graduated from Flint Northwestern High School, “Class of 1980.” He played Junior Varsity Football at Flint Central High School. Deron loved music, the Funkadelic's were his favorite group. He enjoyed mostly all TV sports and loved to watch Monday Night Football with his dad. Mr. Deron Harris leaves to cherish his memory: leaves to cherish his memory: parents, C.J. and Jenett Harris; 2 aunts, Louise McGrew of Mobile, AL and Essie Pearson of Melvin, AL; 4 uncles, Vert McGrew of Mobile, AL, Maxie, James and Clamus Pearson, all of Melvin, AL; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Coleman and Verma Pearson, Chester and Maude Harris.
