VIVERETTE, Ms. Dedria - Age 36, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Family hour 10:30AM Wednesday, December 23, 2009 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11AM, Eld. Gregory Martin officiating. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, G-5710 N. Saginaw St. There will be no public viewing. Ms. Dedria “Nikki” Viverette was born February 25, 1973 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Wiley and Clara Viverette, Jr. Dedria was a resident of Atlanta, Georgia. She was baptized in March of 1986 and became a devout Christian. “Dedria” attended high school in Kerrville, Texas and graduated from Madison High School in San Antonio, Texas. She also attended Angelo State University, in San Angelo, Texas and earned her Nursing degree from Georgia State, in Atlanta, Georgia. “Nikki” was a fun loving Flight Attendant and Facilitator for Delta Airlines for 16 years. She loved adventures and traveling to places like Peru and Germany. Dedria loved reading and cooking gourmet meals. She also helped to build homes with Habitat for Humanity. Dedria had a rare blood type, which made her an avid blood donor and encouraged all those around her to be a donor. “Nikki” loved spending time with all her special friends and spoiling her nephews. Ms. Dedria “Nikki” Viverette leaves to cherish her memory: parents, Wiley, Jr. and Clara Viverette of Brunswick, GA; sister, Tracy Viverette (Marcos) Purty of South Australia; 2 nephews, Myles and Bryce Purty; aunts, Wyvonne (Sy) Holt of Bloomfield Hills, MI, Elizabeth Martin of Flint, Gestine (Willie) Brown of Fort Mill, SC, Pearl (Maxwell) Robbs; uncles, Bill (Ruby) Viverette of Flint, Russell (Lizette) Jones of Millington, TN, Al (Vanessa) Jones, Harrison (Anna) Jones, all of Flint, Hervey (Paula) Jones of Charlotte, NC, Edward and Thirman Jones, both of Flint; a host of cousins and friends that she loved (too many to name). One of the beautiful things about Dedria is that you knew she loved you. The family would like to express a special thanks to Dedria’s Delta family and friends.
