VAUGHN, Mr. Daniel Alan - Age 34, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021. Mr. Vaughn will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed Friday, February 26, 2021 from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM.Mr. Daniel Alan Vaughn was born January 20, 1987 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Debora McClain and Lloyd Vaughn. Daniel was raised in Flint and attended Mt. Morris Alternative High School where he later pursued a career in Manufacturing Production Work. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his daughter, Ava. Daniel also loved to cook, play video games and crack jokes on just abut every person he came in contact with. What he really enjoyed the most was being a father. Mr. Daniel Alan Vaughn leaves to cherish his memory: fiancé, Ayana M. Grady; daughter, Ava M. Vaughn; step-son, Devin J. Gibson; father, Lloyd Vaughn; 4 sisters, Marcina McClain, Cheasha (Adrian) McClain-Hughes, Christina (Tobias) Mayers and Bianca (Montez) Vaughn-Brown; 3 brothers, Justin (Tiffany) McClain, Anthony McClain and Antonio McGrady; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews including special nephew, MarQwon McClain; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends, Reo “Tink” Copeland. Mr. Vaughn was preceded in death by his mother, Debora McClain; grandmother, Percina McClain; and niece, Teonna McClain. The family would like to express special thanks to the Flint Township Police Department Detectives, Minto and Lopez, grandfather, Pettis McClain, auntie, Teena Walker, the Clark family and Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home.
