WASHINGTON, Mr. Anthony - Age 40, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at his residence. Family hour and public viewing 10:00 AM Friday, April29, 2022 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM, Rev. Dr. Paul Musson, officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home, 10:00 AM Friday. Mr. Washington will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed only during the family hour.Mr. Anthony Duane Washington was born May 23, 1981 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Sonya Washington. Anthony resided in Flint and was a member of Fairhaven Seventh-day Adventist Church. He graduated from Flint Northern High School and served in the United States Marine Corps. Anthony’s hobbies included, Kung-Fu, singing, dancing and video games. He was charming, intelligent, artistic and the life of the party. Mr. Anthony Duane Washington leaves to cherish his memory: spouse, Natalie Hodge; daughter, Nyla Washington; 2 sons, Mark Harrison and Sire Washington, all of Flint; grandparents, William “Granddaddy Bill” (Phyllis) Washington Sr.; sisters, Stella “Shell”, Clarice, Kenniesha, LaQueisha, Rayshawnda, Angelicia, Tamicka, Palace and Manita “Ne Ne” Person; brothers, Edward II, James V and James “Rody”; nieces, Deayreon, Lil Stella, Jemini, and Rochella Jones “Birthday Twin”; nephews, David Jr., Daniel, A’King; a host of other nieces and nephews; great-nieces, Chanel and Fendi; aunts, Susan (Morris) Woods of Oceanside, CA, Darlene (Algin) Bonner of Flint and Sylvia Anderson of Oceanside, CA; uncles, Duane (Twilla) Washington, Chester Washington, all of Flint, Timmy (Princess) Washington of Upper Marlboro, MD, Alphonso (Amee) Washington of Everett, WA, Tyrone Hicks, Ivan Collins and Marcus (Shakira) Leonard; special cousins, Avery Washington, Nathanial Washington and Duane Knapp; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, best friend, Edward West “Brother”, Chris Washington, Jaqualin and Johnie Jr. .Mr. Washington was preceded in death by Margaret Washington Taylor, William Preston Taylor, WG Washington, Larounse Robinson, Quintin Edelen and Troy Hicks.
