HOGAN, Mrs. Yvonne Denise - Age 59, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 1:30 PM Saturday, March 18, 2017 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 2:00 PM, Pastor Kenneth L. Stewart, officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the Chapel 1:30 PM on Saturday. Mrs. Hogan will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM-8:00 PM on Friday. Ms. Yvonne Denise Hogan was born August 6, 1957 the daughter of James and Clara Hogan in Flint, MI .She dedicated her life to Christ at an early age. She attended Flint Public Schools and graduated from Flint Central High School. Yvonne held various jobs throughout the years, but her favorite was being a devoted mother to her children, along with cooking and cleaning. It has been said that anyone that met or knew her, loved her. Ms. Yvonne Denise Hogan leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, Raneisha Smith; and son, Jhamal Hogan; stepchildren, Tahkesa Hogan, Talona Hogan, Jovontai Hogan, Marcellette Hogan, Tiffany Hogan, David Robinson III, Tineisha Smith and Jomaria Hogan; 3 grandchildren, Jaquavis Jhamal Hogan, Jhamal Hogan Jr. and Shanequa Robertson; 3 sisters, Sherry Hogan, Donna Brown, Linda Morris; 3 brothers, Richard Hogan, James Webb, and Robert Smallwood; nieces, Tamika Hogan, Julietta Williams, Marie Hogan, Jacklyn Hogan, Kimmikie McDonald, Keke Love, Gabrielle Love and Shavonne, Davina and Latoria Cohill, Dominique Walls; nephews, Kirk Fisher, Jaylen Williams, Antwaun Love, James Hogan III, Deantay Hoakes Jr., Alshawn Magee Jr., Tysen Burkes,Justin McClain, Sr., Justin McClain Jr., John and Julius Williams, David (Daylee) Edwards, Tennay Hogan Evans; 3 aunts, Edith (Moody) Cox, Ethel Hogan, Louise McDonald; 2 uncles, Dallas McDonald, Ira McDonald; cousins, Cheryl Love, Carl and Roger Ussery from Detroit, Gina Hogan, James and Mary Winfield of Florida, and April January; Brothers-in-Law, David Robinson Jr., Wallace Jones, Kirk Fischer and Raydell Evans Jr.; A host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Stanley Smith, Denise Butts, Donna Brown, David Robinson Jr., Kathy Morris, Rodger Clark, James Cummings, Ms. Rose, and the McPherson Family. Ms. Yvonne Denise Hogan was preceded in death by her parents; James Sr. and Clara Hogan; grandparents, Eva and Dallas McDonald; 2 brothers, James Jack (JoAnne) Hogan Jr. and David Robinson Jr.; aunt, Vivian January; and sister, Gail Jones.
