GUTIERREZ, Ms. Yvonne - Age 36, passed away Monday, February 2, 2009 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:30AM Monday, February 9, 2009 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing immediately at 11AM. Interment Gracelawn Community Cemetery, G-5710 N. Saginaw St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30AM Monday. Ms. Gutirrez will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, and may be viewed from 10AM-6PM Sunday. Ms. Yvonne Gutierrez was born Tuesday, December 5, 1972 in san Antonio, Texas to Jesus R. and Diana Gutierrez. Yvonne along with her parents and younger sister and brother relocated to Flint when Yvonne was about five years old. Yvonne attended Swartz Creek High School and resided in Flint most of her life. She enjoyed music, including her favorite artist Prince, good movies, dining out at her favorite restaurants, helping others who were in need and spending time with her friends and family especially her son, Xavier. Yvonne leaves to cherish her memory: beloved son, Xavier Adbul Labar Miller; loving parents, Jesus “Robert” Gutierrez (Debbie) and Diana Leon (Galindo) all of Flint; devoted siblings, Jeanetta A. Gutierrez (Bobby) of San Antonio, TX, Jesus “Jesse” Gutierrez Jr. (Patty), Cynthia O. Gutierrez (Owen), Valerie (Gutierrez) Alejandro all of Flint and Nicole Gutierrez of Saginaw, MI; cherished nieces and nephews, Jesus R. Gutierrez III, Mario L. Tiggs, Alyanna R. Gutierrez, Miguel R. Gutierrez, Wayne R. King III, Ariel C. Gutierrez and Sonya G. West; Yvonne also leaves behind a host of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins including, Delia and Joseph Munoz all of San Antonio, TX ; many special friends including, Dennis Horton & family, the Mitchell, Patson, Miller, Ortiz, Ozenbaugh, Kelchner, Waybrant, Byas and Cavette families. Ms. Gutierrez was preceded in death by her grandparents, Armando and Maria “Cuca” Gutierrez and Trinidad Urbano. The Gutierrez family would like to express sincere thanks to DaVita Dialysis, the entire staff of Hurley’s I.C.U., Dr. Towfiq, and all of the caring people and families for their support and compassion.
